Long before you can see the tent from the highway, you can feel the power of God flowing like an electric current in the air. Each night, as we drive down the highway, I find myself looking up moments before the tent is visible. Drawn in by God’s presence and the hunger of His people.

Monday night was like nothing I’d ever seen before. Cars lined the road and people were everywhere. As I approached the tent I saw thousands of people – nearly as many outside the tent as were inside.

It was clear the people were there to see Jesus. While many were worshipping, just as many were praying loudly alone, or in groups. Serving and loving one another.

As Mario began to speak the Word, the power cut off and everything went dark and quiet. Then suddenly a roar rose up from the people. Shortly after the power was restored and Mario resumed.
This led to an amazing altar call where hundreds of people came forward to surrender their life to God. It must have been nearly 800 people filling the front of that tent.

Next Mario spoke about the story of blind Bartimaeus crying out for Jesus to have mercy on him.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mark 10:47, 48).
Mario asked the people to raise their hands if they needed a healing. Thousands of hands went up all over the tent and outside the tent. He next told them to do like Bartimaeus, and the roar of people calling the name of Jesus was deafening. He then smiled and told them to “be quiet”, and they shouted even louder. He did it again and it was louder still.
Suddenly Jesus began to show up. Mario turned and called out a woman, naming the desperate needs in her body. When she first stood, her steps were shaky, but as God began to restore her body you could actually see her footing become more sure. She crossed to the front and began to dance before God, completely healed and restored!
All over the tent people were being healed. As the people “cried out all the more” like Bartimaeus, God was healing them right where they stood. People rose up out of wheelchairs. Pain disappeared. Sickness left. Demons fled.

A woman who had been tormented by a devil was set free, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and her calling to the mission field restored.
I know, like John the Baptist, you may be asking yourself if all these things are really from God. Jesus answer to John is the same answer for you.
Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.” – Matthew 11:2-6
The night was incredible. God was in that place and there was no way anyone left unaffected in some way. Amazing miracles, but the most amazing were the hundreds who surrendered their lives to God. I will never tire of witnessing souls move from death to life.
They shall see the glory of the Lord,
The excellency of our God.
Strengthen the weak hands,
And make firm the feeble knees.
Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.”
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then the lame shall leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the dumb sing
Isaiah 35:2-6
