“They come from some of the hardest situations – the highest rates of suicide and violent crime against women; missing and murdered indigenous women; all of these awful statistics,” On Eagles’ Wings Director Brad Hutchcraft says.
“But God is raising an army of young warriors saying ‘We’ve had enough. We want to see change for our people, and we want to be part of that change.’”
On Eagles’ Wings, a division of Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, equips Native believers to reach their communities for Christ. The team is breaking ground on a brand new Leadership Center in Northern Arkansas.
“We are within days of [laying] the foundation, and then we’ll start seeing walls go up. In October of 2022, we will welcome our first class,” Hutchcraft says.
He adds that the center is an answer to decades of prayer, and up to 24 leaders can enroll in the first year. A nine-month discipleship program will foster holistic growth in five key areas: biblical studies, life skills, personal growth and healing, ministry training, and interdisciplinary studies.
You can help by sponsoring a Native leader.
“We want this to be a place where we can tell [Native Christians] even more about Jesus because they love Him. They’ve shown they want to serve Him, and we want to equip them to do just that,” Hutchcraft says.
“Pray for the first class of students; that we would be ready for them, and they would be ready for what God is going to do there.”
