“I Am Calling My People to Restore the Altars”
Conrad Lampan, Silverdale, WA
Recently, I was blessed to minister at Covenant Church in The Dalles, OR, then at the Breakthrough Conference at Living Waters Ranch in Challis, ID, and later on at Bridge of Hope in Libby, MT. After preaching in the morning sessions, I felt the prompt of the Holy Spirit to make an altar call to come and commune with Him. I did, and it was an amazing sight, as almost all the people in the room came to the altar; some kneeling, some standing, and some prostrating before His Majesty.
At the session in ID, I felt the prompt of the Holy Spirit again to call the musicians and play the strings as we walked among the people at the altar. It was just awesome. The anointing was flowing; everybody was being touched by the blessed Holy Spirit.
This Is What the Nation Needs
Then God started to speak and He said: “This is what the nation needs. This is what I am doing right now. I am calling My people to restore the altars.
“I am calling My people to come through the altar of repentance and proceed to the altars of prayer, and into the Holy of Holies. (Photo via Unsplash)
“However,” He continued, “those three altars will happen at once, when My people come to the altar to seek My face. There is repentance and there is grace poured; there is prayer and there is Heaven’s reply; there is awe and fear in the innermost Presence, and there is the embrace of the Father.
“The restoration of the altars I am calling My Church to activate means that Jesus Christ will be, once more, at the center of My Church’s activities, and the focus will shift from Earth to Heaven.
“Then and only then,” He said, “the focus of Heaven on Earth will become a certainty – a reality, and an unquestionable presence of God, leading to holiness, will come like a wave that will permeate society and change the nation.
“My Church – every church, in every locality – needs to realize that when Jesus died and was resurrected, and went up to sit at the right hand of God, those who believe become the people of eternity. Those who believe are not part of the world anymore, and it will be only then – when My Church realizes that the place of abode and the place of primary action is in the heavenly places in Jesus – that Christians, all around the world, will become the most effective force to bring change.”
The Holy Spirit said, “Only those with a close connection with Heaven are able to bring forth the changes that the nation desperately needs. And that close connection will become active and evident in action as My people restore the altars.
“I am not restoring the altars Myself, I am calling My people to restore the altars. And when they do, they will find that I have been waiting there all along, ready to bless them and, through them, bless the nation, when they make themselves ready to become the channel of grace and heavenly glory that the Father always had in mind when He sent Jesus Christ.” (Photo via Unsplash)
It’s Not About Calling Heaven, but About Bringing Heaven
I have been to many revivals around the world through many years, and I have researched revivals in the history of the Church, from the Book of Acts and on. As a result, I have found this common principle of action by the Holy Spirit: Jesus is at the center, and the altars are open. In a true revival, people run to the altars – literally run!
When God’s people, who have been washed by the Blood of the Lamb, make that connection the Holy Spirit is prompting us all to make, I believe we are going to see change happen. Instead of standing in the world calling Heaven to do something, we will stand in His presence and bring Heaven in.
In other words, it is not about calling Heaven but about bringing Heaven. This means your involvement with the Holy Spirit; it means not just detached Kingdom values but the extension of the Kingdom. We must realize that the preaching of the Kingdom is the only factor of change, and the only expectation of hope.
After all, that is exactly what Jesus did, and the apostles. Why would we do otherwise?

Years ago, at the height of the Argentine Revival, Conrad Lampan left the country of his birth with a burning desire to share those fires of revival and renewal with churches in other latitudes. With this vision etched in his heart, he later moved to Wales, where he and his family resided for several years. During their time in Wales, Conrad and his wife Claire planted a church – which has now given birth to two churches – before relocating to the US, where they are presently pastoring The Highway Church in Washington State, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The passion of their lives is to see revival birthed in every church. During his travels, ministering around the world, Conrad has seen amazing miracles wrought by the Holy Spirit. The Lampans carry an anointing to facilitate the Holy Spirit. Conrad and Claire feel they have been called to help people release themselves into their calling, and to help churches see a fresh dimension of God’s power already in their midst. The local church has the tools, the gifts, and God’s expectations for them to move in the fullness of His plan.
