SPIRITUAL SANITY OVERCOMING NATURAL WORLD INSANITY – Ron McGatlin

The world is currently immersed in mass deception leading to a form of massive insanity or mental illness.

Every person alive in the world today is to some degree and in some way affected by the scourge of insanity upon the people.

There is no natural cure or vaccination for this neurotic pandemic of mental illness and suffering now affecting the world. There is no medical or psychiatric regiment or therapy that will cure this insanity of the people.

Most of you reading this are probably right now correctly thinking that God is the answer. Yes! But how? How do we appropriate the provision of Spirit God in Christ Jesus to cure the insanity of the people?

Some of the most religious people that I have known demonstrated insane characteristics within themselves that were covered by a facade of human goodness and knowledge of the Bible. Some even proclaim a form of the word of the kingdom of God truth with their mouths and yet, with serious issues within.

APPROPRIATING GOD’S PROVISION OF SANITY

Appropriation begins with understanding the provision and the real problem. As always with God the issues of darkness may be complex to us, yet His answers and solutions are always amazingly simple and profound.

The cure and well-being from all mental and physical illnesses first rest in the Spirit realm.

The word insanity literally means “unsanity”. The word “sanity” deals with cleanness. To sanitize something means to cleanse it. Insanity has to do with uncleanness or contamination. Not necessarily from the uncleanness of the individual person, but from the current spiritual environment and past generations of the family, tribe, or nation.

All illness whether mental or physical has its beginning in uncleanness which causes a lack of clarity in the spirits of the people. The natural unredeemed man is lacking the clearness or sanity, and wellness of God’s cleansing of spirit, soul, and body.

The mind of a person is frame worked and inspired from the spirit within. In other words, the context of the mind, in which thoughts occur and responses are formed, is by the spirit of the person. The light or darkness of the spirit of man colors and affects the meaning of the thought. Thus, it affects the response to the thoughts in the soul and the body.

The spirit of man colors all input from the natural five senses according to the condition of the spirit. A disordered spirit will produce a disordered mind and life. A disordered spirit is a spirit that is not ordered by the HOLY SPIRIT of God. The Holy Spirit is completely pure, and in perfect alignment with Father God, Christ Jesus, and heaven’s order.

The disorder or contaminated spirit is caused by a lack of complete alignment with God, which always occurs from not being completely in love with God. Falling in love and being married to God causes us to become one with God. (Ephesians 5:25-32).

Our spirit becomes Christ’s Spirit and we no longer live. But He lives in us where we once lived. (Galatians 2:20).

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALING

Mental and physical healings are a direct result of the Spirit flooding the thoughts and all that comes in from the eyes and ears with the pure light of Holy God.

Truth is received and all lies, darkness, and deception are exposed for us to reject and destroy with the light of truth in the power of love. This is the wisdom of God at work establishing the kingdom of God in us and out of us to the world around us.

Healing is a beginning process of God living in us. The further lasting response is divine mental and physical health and well-being as God’s mature sons, male and female.

COLLECTIVE SUFFERING WITHIN GROUPS

Even a growing born-again person within a family, tribe, or nation can suffer attacks of mental or physical sickness or other trauma because of a close connection within an ungodly or deceived person or group.

There can be a time to disconnect and become separate spiritually and/or physically from a person, family, tribe, or nation. (Mark 10:28-30).

“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.
I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18.

It is important to hear God about either entering and closely connecting with a person or a group to seek to minister and bring change to them or to come out from among them.

“Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.” Galatians 6:1.

MANY TODAY CONTINUE TO WALK IN MIXTURE

It seems normal to many Christians to add the Spirit of God into their lives along with their natural ability to reason or figure out solutions to the challenges of life.

This does not work for believers in the transition from their old life to their new life in the Holy Spirit. We must walk in the Holy Spirit of God. (Romans 8:1-6) (Galatians 5:16-28).

This is a result of being filled or baptized with the Holy Spirit. Filled implies that there is no longer any room for my old spirit to rule. Baptized implies completely saturated in the Spirit leaving NO room for contamination.

The old natural fallen mind may scream, “NO! You cannot do this. You will become stupid fools without me!”

The truth is that when we are baptized or totally filled with the Holy Spirit and walk in the Spirit, the natural mind will be renewed to the supernatural mind that God created us to have. Only after natural reasoning is completely replaced with the mind of Christ can we fully trust our mind’s guidance.

Our ability to know and understand will be greatly increased as we hear the clear answers and provisions of God in dealing with all life on earth from the perspective of God from heaven in us.

We will see answers that penetrate the circumstances and see the core of all situations that cannot be seen or understood by the natural fallen minds of men.

SONS OF THE LIVING GOD

Generationally, we are not the first nor the last of the Sons of God on earth. We are a product of past generations and we are the influence of now and future generations that are moving into the fullness of mature Sons of God.

That which God has given each of us to be and to do in this life is more than a part of the manifesting the kingdom of God on earth in only this generation. Just as our part now is to build upon what generations of sons before us have done, the next generations go on building on that which God has done in and through us in our generation.

As mature Sons of God, we are eternal Spirit beings now on earth to do our part in bringing heaven to earth. You and I must not allow the insanity of the devil and the fallen world to steal our parts in this life.

Look up in the Spirit! You can accomplish much more in this life than your mind can imagine.

This is the sanity of the Spirit freed from distractions and hindrances to clearly see and experience the fullness of the life of God for you in this now age.
