In the spirit, I saw a large slingshot with a multitude of people being placed in its pouch by the hand of the Lord. There was a massive crowd gathered around the slingshot, like they had been awaiting this moment for a long time.
Some were in a place of deep worship while they waited to be placed in the pouch of the slingshot. Some, while they were waiting, were in a place of uncertainty as to whether they were ready for what the Lord was calling them to. Others who stood there waiting did not think they were worthy of the redemption and the restoration that was awaiting them. But as I saw them being placed in the slingshot, they all became overwhelmed by His presence and love. They became so overwhelmed with joy that smiles came upon their faces, and they were filled with bubbling laughter. It was the act of the Lord, counting them as worthy sons and daughters, as they entered back into His presence once again and were filled with an anticipation of what God was about to do in their lives.
I saw these people being propelled forward, further and quicker than I could even see. It was like a great rushing wind as the slingshot went off. Then the Lord began to load up the slingshot with the next group of people. At that moment, He began to show me that those who were waiting to be placed in this slingshot had a variety of different reasons for being there.
To Those Who Think They’ve Lost It All
He showed me that there were those who had thought they’d lost it all, and that there was no way back to what God had called them to. God is saying to them: “It’s time to return home, back to the high place that I’ve called you to. It’s time to see yourself the way I do, for you are seated in My Son. But you say to yourselves in your soul (mind, will, emotions) that you think you have lost it all. But I see you as redeemed, restored and righteous. I see you through the victory that was done in My Son – from the Cross to the throne. (Photo via Rawpixel)
“It’s time, son; it’s time, daughter. Pick up your mantle and call and see that I will redeem the time, propelling you further than you ever thought was imaginable. For My love is greater than any desperate times you’ve faced. The Blood has made you as white as snow and has redefined your purity.
“It’s time, child, to repent and return back to the high place.”
“But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, He united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by His wonderful grace! He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with Him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!” (Ephesians 2:4-6 TPT)
“…He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV)
To Those Who Have Been Afraid of the Accusations of Others
He then showed me that there were those waiting who had a huge redemption story in store for them, but they were afraid of the accusations of others. They were afraid that people would only see them through their past and not the Blood of Jesus. They were afraid of being called a prodigal and not being accepted back home.
I heard the Lord say, “Don’t ever call those that are being propelled forward ‘prodigals,’ holding them only to their past and not their future that I have called them to. For it was the jealousy and anger of the brother that could only see his brother through ‘prodigal deed’ and not the redemption story of a son returning to his father. The father said, ‘My son is alive again,’ and celebrated the son’s return. The father clothed him in honor, gave him a ring of sonship and authority, then placed sandals upon his feet, so he no longer walked in the dirt of this world, and told his servants to celebrate him too.”
The Lord spoke again: “Child, don’t let the fear of others try to replace the sonship you were already freely given. It’s time to rise and shine, for the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Remember who you are!”
“For the lovers of God may suffer adversity and stumble seven times, but they will continue to rise over and over again.” (Proverbs 24:16 TPT)
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.” (Isaiah 60:1-2 KJV) (Photo via Pexels)
To Those Who Have Withdrawn Because of the Pressures of Life
He then showed me there were those waiting who had withdrawn because of the pressures of life, ministry, relationships, finances and self-worth. They had allowed themselves to retreat, thinking they would escape the pressures they had faced. But as time went on, they no longer knew how to return to where they had once been, or how to move forward. They had thought they’d lost it all. They had now come to a place of feeling dormant, dried up and muzzled. They rarely used the gifts they were given to reach others anymore.
I heard Abba speak over them: “Do not worry or be afraid! You have been in a place of being drawn back, but now I desire to propel you forward, back to where you have always belonged. I have seen the tears you’ve shed. It’s time to open your mouth and speak My Word again. As you do, I will fill your lungs with My ruach breath, and you will be filled up once again.
“I have always chosen you as My vessel to bring Me honor. It’s time to step back into what I have always created you for. For out of your mouth will flow My words to bring life to those around you and to the nations I have shown you before!”
“Yet when holy lovers of God cry out to Him with all their hearts, the Lord will hear them and come to rescue them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and He is always ready to restore the repentant one.” (Psalm 34:17-18 TPT)
“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6 NKJV)
