THE TURNING POINT IN LOS ANGELES
Breaking news from Los Angeles: The turning point is here. A new and widespread work of the Holy Spirit has broken out. It is breaking out both inside and outside the church.
Outside the church:
Frank Saldana and our Inner City Action teams on the streets have this report about the people: The openness to Jesus is not just wonderful, it’s almost eerie. We have literally never seen it like this in any other crusade.
Inside the church:
Unity and love are flowing, with little or no effort, between the 100 churches which are partnering with us. A growing urgency for awakening has replaced petty differences. A spirit of prayer has gripped believers. These are the features of an awakening.
Whenever I have seen openness, unity and prayer come together—there has always been a move of God. It is like a weather pattern.
Jesus referred to weather patterns. He once rebuked the crowd for not reading the signs of the times:
“Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times” (Matthew 16:1-3).
It boils down to this, Jesus is saying, ‘You have seen this many times before. How can you not tell what is going to happen next?’

What is going to happen next in Los Angeles? My past experiences tell me that this is on a level I have not seen before. The Kingdom of God has overtaken our plans!
But there is one outstanding phenomenon. And it hits me more than anything else. The rising expectancy for miracles in the Tent is the greatest sign. Something has happened to these people. This is not because of a man, or a man’s ministry. This expectancy is something they are directing at Jesus, and it is only about Jesus.

When you see it in the Bible it gets even more thrilling. This is the account of one of the greatest manifestations of mass healing in history, and what caused it. These verses reflect what is happening in Los Angeles:
Mark 6:54-56, “And when they came out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Him, ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.”
Here is how it happened, step by step.
1. They recognized Him. He is here! The One Who heals, delivers, and saves is in their community. Seeing Jesus overruled every doubt, fear, and hesitation. There are no words to express the fire within them. Instantly, they believed that all things were possible. Immediately their thoughts turned to loved ones – those who were diseased, crippled, or dying. They were overcome by faith for a miracle to happen to them, and they just had to act.
His presence in their region could only mean one thing: heaven had sanctioned a miracle event. A season of miracles had arrived, and there was no way they were going to miss it.
2.They ran. Their expectancy fueled their frenzy to go and get loved ones. They could see the miracles. They could feel the impending healing virtue. Miracle faith had overtaken them. No matter what they had to do they were on mission to get the ones they loved to Jesus.
3.They began to carry them! The ones they loved could not walk. The carried them on makeshift beds and stretchers. Soon caravans of faith formed. Long lines marched to wherever they heard Jesus was. No one got too tired. No one thought it was too difficult. Nothing would come between them and the miracle they knew was coming.
4.Healings broke out everywhere! “As many as touched Him were healed.” What a moment! What an astonishing victory over all the works of the devil.

Fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters are being tagged to go. In a few days they will be bundled into cars and taken to the Tent.
They believe Jesus will be in the Tent!
But the thing that matters most—the one truth that is most explosive—the top reason that Satan is quaking in his boots over this crusade, is a towering conviction: the people believe that Jesus will be in the Tent!
It is not about Mario Murillo. It is all about the single greatest truth that the church owns. “Wherever two or three are gathered in My Name, there I am in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).
JESUS WILL BE IN THE TENT! That explains all of the expectancy. The people of God in Los Angeles believe this. They are acting on it. They have no doubt about it. From all directions they will come to the Tent and truly they will see a season of miracles there!
That single conviction is the catalyst, and this solitary truth is why we are at the turning point in Los Angeles.
