(Canada)— [LifeSiteNews.com] The Million Person March against the LGBT agenda in schools has announced rally locations across the country. (Screengrab image) Set to take place Wednesday, September 20, the Million Person March is a coast-to-coast protest gathering Canadians of all ages, races, and religions to defend children from LGBT indoctrination in schools. The protest, organized by Muslim Canadians, has adopted the slogan, “Leave our kids alone,” specifically in regard to gender ideology, age-inappropriate sexual content in school libraries, and LGBT propaganda. ‘”Woke ideology’ which promotes animosity, division, and ultimately hate in our schools and communities,” the event’s website warns. “We call for a ban on so-called medical ‘gender-affirming care’ for minors under the age of 18,” it continued. “Children do not have the brain development, maturity, wisdom, or life experience to fully appreciate the long-term consequences of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical procedures designed to emulate the appearance of the opposite sex.” “We call for a national referendum on the removal of ‘gender identity’ and ‘gender expression’ from the federal and provincial human rights codes,” the website added. “These are ideological constructs and not human rights. Canadians deserve a chance to decide whether we want an ideological or biological definition of gender to be instantiated in Canadian law.” The protest is planned for cities across Canada… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Continue reading, and watch the video promo Here. |

“I was going through the darkest and most chaotic time in my life, and instead of being given the help I needed, these doctors affirmed that chaos into reality… I was talked into medical intervention that I could not fully understand the long-term impacts and consequences of.” -from the unnamed woman’s lawsuit [PJMedia.com] An unnamed woman who once identified as transgender filed suit last week against the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Nebraska Medicine, and three doctors for “negligence and lack of informed consent” after she had a “gender-affirming” double mastectomy at the age of 16 in 2018. (Image: Unsplash-Adrian Swancar) Now a young woman, the plaintiff will never nurse her children, assuming she is still able to bear them after four years of testosterone treatments that “caused significant mental and physical harm.” All because the medical industry—I used to call it “healthcare”—decided that surgery and hormones were the answer to a troubled teenager’s emotional and mental health issues and, according to the lawsuit, bulldozed her into their preferred “treatment.” That poor kid doesn’t seem to have ever stood a chance against the adults arrayed against her. According to WOWT News, the “lawsuit also suggests that the teen patient was vulnerable as their parents had gone through a divorce in 2015 when the teen was 13 years old.” Predictably, that was followed by troubles at school, complicated by “depression and generalized anxiety disorder.” Then things really got out of control for the girl. She was placed in a partial psychiatric care program, put on antipsychotic drugs, and was meanwhile being “groomed online and preyed upon by an older man from out of state” who threatened her with exposure if she didn’t send him sexually explicit photos of herself. It is no wonder she began to question her identity and “may have been swept up in a social contagion and/or unduly influenced by social media,” according to the suit. Detransitioning since at least January of this year, the young woman’s lawsuit alleges that doctors gave her parents the impression that she would become suicidal without putting her on a fast track to removing her healthy breast tissue, and her young body pumped full of male hormones. WOWT also reports that the suit claims that “no warning [was] given about any potential harm long-term use of testosterone,” which she finally quit taking late last year “due to heart irregularities, aching joints, and pelvic pain” that left her virtually immobilized. In a press release accompanying the lawsuit, the young woman said, “I was going through the darkest and most chaotic time in my life, and instead of being given the help I needed, these doctors affirmed that chaos into reality… I was talked into medical intervention that I could not fully understand the long-term impacts and consequences of.” All at the age of 15. To give you an even better idea of how deep this country has gone down the rabbit hole on this transgender madness, let me share with you a telling detail I couldn’t help but notice from the WOWT News report linked above. The story is a little over 800 words long and, well, you know the subject matter all too well by now. And yet a few words are missing from it: Woman, girl, she, her. Here is a young woman screaming to the world that her actual sex is her actual sex, despite repeated attempts to rob her of it… and yet the media still can’t manage to call her a woman… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Continue reading Here. |

“They are depriving people the ability to participate in what is the most relevant and central debates of our times, which is really a question of what is truth—what is a woman?” -Rodrigo Iván Cortés [Faithwire.com] A former Mexican congressman who was fined, forced to apologize, and punished by a court of law for calling a trans-identifying politician a “man who self-describes as a woman” is refusing to back down. (Screengrab image) Rodrigo Iván Cortés lost his appeal last month before the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judicial Power, with the court upholding a lower bench ruling. Cortés, reportedly fined 19,244 Mexican pesos, forced to apologize on social media, and sent to re-education classes, is planning to take his case to an international court to defend his rights. “The self-evident truth is that a man can never be a woman,” he said, calling his punishment “deeply unjust.” “I’m going to make this a public point … and follow the international path in this issue.” Cortés was accused of gender-based political violence for his comments on social media. He said the entire ordeal was sparked after he criticized a bill by a transgender legislator he said was aimed at “punishing people of faith and ministers” even “if they quote the Bible.” “I express[ed] my rejection to that bill, because it was going to be an attempt against the religious freedom,” Cortés said. “I explained that this is a very important issue.” Click Here and scroll down to watch the former Mexican congressman tell his story Cortés took to social media to call the transgender legislator a man who self-describes as a woman—and that’s when he found himself at the center of a legal quagmire, with the offended legislator and others reportedly using the legal system against Cortés. “After that message that was transmitted by Twitter and Facebook was the elements of these suing and demanding,” he said. “And it was something shocking, because the freedom of expression, the democratic debate was crushed by this suing and this demand.” Tomás Henríquez, director of advocacy for Latin America and the Caribbean with ADF International, a conservative legal firm, told CBN’s Faithwire there is a “global trend” surrounding the violation of freedom of expression and related restrictions. According to Henríquez, these crackdowns go “well beyond what is allowed by international human rights law” and stifle public debate. “My reaction was that I was not entirely surprised, although there are certain specific features of this case that are still very surprising and I would say shocking,” he said, charging people are using the Mexican legal system to silence political opponents. The problem, Henríquez argued, goes quite deep, and has become embedded in the law. “The mere fact that you would question today in Mexico that a male who identifies as a woman is not truly a woman has become unlawful and this has been the decision that has been upheld by the courts over time,” he said. “They are depriving people the ability to participate in what is the most relevant and central debates of our times, which is really a question of what is truth—what is a woman?” Cortés’ case also comes with some bizarre punishments, including what he called “public humiliation” and brainwashing… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Continue reading, and watch the video report Here. |

[HotAir.com] Three years after “defund the police” became a BLM rallying cry, San Francisco and other Bay Area cities are still trying to recover from the brief popularity that phrase once had with mayors and city councils. San Francisco is still down hundreds of police officers and has come up with a new plan to attract more recruits: Go to Texas … You really have to soak in the comedic aspect of far left San Francisco going to bright red Texas to try to find officers. [FoxBusiness.com] …The national debt—which measures what the US owes its creditors—surged to roughly $33.04 trillion as of Monday afternoon, according to the latest numbers published by the Treasury Department. By comparison, just four decades ago, the national debt hovered around $907 billion. “The United States has hit a new milestone that no one will be proud of: our gross national debt just surpassed $33 trillion,” said Maya MacGuineas, the president of CRFB. “Debt held by the public, meanwhile, recently surpassed $26 trillion. “On Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, one of the holiest days of the Jewish year, UNESCO passed a resolution recognizing as a Palestinian heritage site, the ancient city of Jericho—and at the same time, erasing all references to the city’s ancient Jewish and Biblical history.” -Prof. Eugene Kontorovich (Jerusalem, Israel) — [CBN News] UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) has declared ancient Jericho as a “Palestinian Heritage” site, and some say that eradicates the Biblical connection to the city. (Screengrab image: via CBN News) Considered the “oldest city in the world,” Jericho is most commonly known for its Biblical history. The book of Joshua describes how the Children of Israel crossed into the Promised Land and then encircled Jericho for six days, according to the commandment of God. On the seventh day, they circled the city seven times, blew the trumpets (shofars) and the walls came down. “On Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, one of the holiest days of the Jewish year, UNESCO passed a resolution recognizing as a Palestinian heritage site, the ancient city of Jericho—and at the same time, erasing all references to the city’s ancient Jewish and Biblical history,” Prof. Eugene Kontorovich at George Mason University Scalia Law School told CBN News. Israeli Foreign Ministry officials were quoted as saying they “see the decision as another sign of the Palestinians’ cynical use of UNESCO and the politicization of the organization.” The Palestinian Authority welcomed the UNESCO decision to recognize Ancient Jericho/Tell es-Sultan as their heritage site. It’s not the first time UNESCO has declared a Biblical site as part of the Palestinian Authority. In 2018, the UN body declared Rachel’s Tomb, revered as the burial place of the Biblical wife of Jacob in Bethlehem, and the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their wives are buried, as “an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian territory.” Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here For more on what’s behind this decision, Click Here to Watch CBN News’ interview with Kontorovich. “We are seeing these people repent from compromise and make a decision to make a public declaration of, ‘No, I want to give my whole life to Jesus starting today.’ And then we see them radically transformed before our eyes where their lifestyle is radically different [and] [they have] boldness to preach the Gospel to their friends like never before.” -Tarik Whitmore, young adult pastor at New Life Church in Corpus Christi [CBN News] A Texas youth pastor says an outpouring of revival is taking place among college students at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and it shows “no signs of slowing down” as hundreds have already given their lives to Jesus and others are getting water baptized almost daily. (Image: New Life Corpus Christi /via CBN News) Tarik Whitmore, the young adult pastor at New Life Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, told CBN News he is seeing a movement among college students who are getting saved and then boldly proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ with the student body. The result is a campus being transformed for Jesus—and it is happening quickly. “In the spring of 22, we started to see people preaching in their small groups—people invite their friends who don’t know the Lord to their small groups. And instead of the small group being a Bible study, they would have someone get up and preach and every time it would happen one or two kids would give their lives to the Lord,” he said. Whitmore says for that entire spring semester he was opening the church late at night to baptize students. “I didn’t do anything or minister in any way. I’m just the guy with the keys at that point,” he shared. The Texas A&M Corpus Christi alum says for more than a year, students have been coming, almost weekly, to get baptized. As CBN News reported, at one point Michael Fehlauer, the lead pastor of the New Life Church posted videos to social media that showed students baptizing their friends in a public fountain at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. FEBRUARY 2023 – Revival Spreads to Texas A&M, Indiana Wesleyan and LSU: ‘It’s Not Religion. It’s Just Meeting JESUS’ Whitmore says many of these young adults are having their lives “radically changed” and are simply sharing with their friends what God has done. “We are seeing these people repent from compromise and make a decision to make a public declaration of, ‘No, I want to give my whole life to Jesus starting today.’ And then we see them radically transformed before our eyes where their lifestyle is radically different [and] [they have] boldness to preach the Gospel to their friends like never before,” said Whitmore. The young adult pastor believes the heart change is genuine saying, “The culture of holiness has really been remarkable among these young people. They are living in purity and righteousness even at this secular university.” And it’s igniting a powerful spiritual movement on the campus. In August, Life Church held its annual outreach at the school and roughly 1,000 students showed up to pray, worship, and learn more about Jesus. Approximately 124 of those students answered the call to salvation and decided to be water-baptized. “Literally we preached the message and then for the next hour and a half we just had the worship team play because we spent the whole time baptizing people,” Whitmore recalled. Whitmore says students are gathering in college dorms, apartments, and homes to share about Jesus. “We’ve had about 21 small group gatherings [and] young adult life groups. And I think the smallest one is 20 people and the largest one is 90 people. So over 400 [people] in these small group gatherings since Labor Day,” he told CBN News. “People are inviting their friends and saying, ‘Something is happening. You need to come and see.'” Whitmore also shared that they have seen 21 more baptisms since Labor Day. “Small group leaders are literally going and buying horse troughs because it is no longer feasible to reach out to me to unlock the church because it is happening too frequently across multiple groups, per night now,” he said. “It is showing no signs of slowing down,” he added. Whitmore says 240 people showed up at a gathering at Life Church Thursday night and five students were baptized. “It just keeps happening,” he shared. “I’m very hesitant to use the word revival, but I’m to the point where I don’t know what else to call it, especially in light of what is happening around our nation at multiple other college campuses. It really does seem like a nationwide move of God is taking place and we just get to be part of it.” (Screengrab image: via Instagram) Whitmore tells CBN News that he and the leaders at Life Church have been praying for a movement to break out on the school’s campus since 2015, but he doesn’t take credit for what is happening because he knows it is the work of the Holy Spirit. “The heavy lifting is done in prayer,” he explained. “One of the things we prayed for was [for the] Lord to give us 10 percent of that university… [or] a tithe of that university. And this past year to see 10 percent of the university be touched by what God has done through our church to the young people…is really mind-blowing. It’s been overwhelming,” he expressed. Whitmore says Gen Z is not interested in a “palatable” or “cultural-relevant” Christianity, but instead, they are looking for answers. “I think there is a shift and I think there is an increase in hunger and I think what we’ve seen is people be drawn to an authentic expression of Biblical Christianity. There is an expression of power that has been incredibly attractive to kids of all backgrounds,” he explained. “I think Gen Z is hungry for something real and authentic, regardless of what package it comes in.” Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Whitmore added, “The more simple and more unapologetic we’ve been about worship, about preaching the Gospel, about praying, and the laying on of hands, we’ve seen our influence increase, and that tells me there is a genuine hunger for something authentic.” MARCH 2023 ‘The Lord Is Not Slowing Down’: Revival Flames Spread in Texas and Alabama Talia Wise serves as a multi-media producer for CBN News Newswatch, CBNNews.com and social media outlets. |
