Recently, I was preparing to speak at the church of a friend in ministry. The morning I was going to minister, before I could even open my eyes, I heard the Lord say, “Over the top.”
I got excited, and as I got up, I began to pray. Then the Lord spoke to me again and said, “Over the top miracles, over the top finances, over the top recompense, over the top breakthroughs, over the top relationships, over the top businesses, over the top ministries.”
As excitement grew in my spirit and I continued to pray over this, I knew it was a word that needed to be released to the Body of Christ.
The following week after hearing this word, God gave me a prophetic vision. In the vision, I was walking over a hill. Then I could see myself riding a horse over the same hill. Then I saw myself driving a vehicle over the hill. Finally, I saw myself in an army vehicle going over the hill… Every time I reached the top of the hill and began to go over to the other side, in whatever kind of transportation, I was able see what was on the other side. The scenery that laid before me took my breath away every time I went over the top of the hill.
You Are About to Go Over the Top!
I believe this message to the Body of Christ is clear: You are about to go over the top of everything that you’ve gone through. You will literally be able to see why you went through the season you just walked through. Every delay, every damaging thing, every destructive thing, every time you were wounded, every attack of the enemy you faced will make sense in light of what God is about to usher you into. The past season, or for some the past few seasons, could have taken you out, but there was always something on the inside of you that said, “I’ve got to keep going because God has a mandate on my life.” It is those of you who have refused to back down or give up that are about to go over the top of the uphill journey you have faced, and you will break through into fulfillment and purpose.
A Season to Build, Advance and Move Forward!
In this next season, we are to thrust forward into those things that God has intended for us to do with determination and faith. This is a season to build. We are going over the top into victory, and now is the time to begin to build for the Kingdom of God like never before. We must build according to the prophetic mandate that the Lord has given each of us. This is an over-the-top season.
Ephesians 3:19 in the Amplified version says, “…and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].”
I’m telling you, in this over-the-top season, you are about to live out the reality of this powerful Scripture. You will walk in the richest measure of God’s presence in your life, and you will be filled and flooded with the very power and presence of God.
The chaos and intense warfare you have experienced in previous seasons were meant to keep you from stepping into this over-the-top season. It is critical that you continue to seek the Lord in the place of prayer so that you can think, act, dream and move forward with His spirit. God is calling and mantling men and women of God, just like you and me, for this season. This will not necessarily be the easiest season, but you are to build, advance and move forward, in Jesus’ name!
