A Kingdom Mindset
One of the things God has been speaking to me about for many years in my walk with Him is the importance of having a Kingdom mindset. However, the Lord has been giving me fresh revelation about it recently, and I believe it is key for this season. I truly believe that, in this season, being a person who thinks and walks in the supernatural is more important than ever before.
When I talk to people about ministry, business, or really just life, I always challenge them to renew their mind, examine their thinking process, and encourage them to be a person who thinks “Kingdom.” Often, people encounter difficult situations and circumstances and default to only thinking about the situation through a natural lens. As Kingdom-minded people, we must always keep our minds focused on what God may be doing in or through a situation, instead of only considering what may appear to be wrong in the natural.
If you are currently looking at a situation and seeing it as impossible, then you are not thinking supernaturally. I want to challenge you to allow God the space and faith to do the impossible and supernatural in your life.
The word “supernatural” means “a manifestation or event that is attributed to a force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature.” As Believers, we obviously know and believe that the force this definition is talking about is the Spirit of God. Often when people do not get their breakthrough, it is because they are trapped in their own limitations in the natural. However, as children of God we have access to His power and His limitless nature because we belong to Him. So do not let natural thinking keep you from the supernatural breakthrough God has for you.
Erasing Boundaries
When we think supernaturally, we erase the boundaries in our heads and hearts between what concerns God and what doesn’t. To be Kingdom-minded people, we must put God into everything and believe that He is able to move in every single area of our lives, despite how things may appear to our natural senses. I am always looking for the supernatural aspect of every single thing I move forward in. Because of my relationship with God, I know He wants to move in every single area and circumstance in my life. I want to challenge you to expect the same thing!
Before Jesus fed the 5,000, He asked His disciples how they should feed the people. The 12 immediately began to give Him natural excuses as to why they would never be able to feed all those people. However, Jesus asked them to look and see what they already had. As you know, they came back with the lunch of a young boy, just five loaves and two fish. However, when they put this small amount in Jesus’ hands, He blessed it and broke it, and it was miraculously multiplied until every single person in that enormous crowd had eaten their fill. Jesus is still the great multiplier! When we put what little we have in His hands, He multiplies it every single time.
So, I want to encourage you in this season to believe God for the impossible. Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” You may need to ask yourself, What am I thinking? True faith and supernatural thinking produce a supernatural life. When your mind is full of wisdom and revelation, then you will see miracles, signs and wonders.
Proverbs 2:6-8 says, “For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones.” This is your promise for this season, my friends. The closer you walk with the Lord, the more your mind will be transformed; and you will begin to not only think the way He does, but also live supernaturally like Him as well!
