LOVE’S CONSUMING FIRE PROPOSAL– Ron McGatlin

As I sit down in my recliner to quieten my heart and connect with the heart of God this morning January 15, 2024, the first snow of the season is falling outside my window, and the world is unusually quiet.

I am overcome as the pristine majesty of pure love in power flows gently into my spirit, my heart races with holy pure love and humility – my mind yields and bows deeply to Spirit God.

A full awareness that GOD HAS THE MOST POWERFUL ALL-IMPORTANT WORD TO IMPART, brings me to a most reverent fear of the significance of this moment. Only by the strength of His love in me do I continue to write now.

The full Triune Presence of Almighty God, Father God, Son King Jesus, in Holy Spirit, stands before us today with a proposal spoken as prepared before the foundation of the world for this season of all history.

For many thousands of years, preparation of all acts and happenings of mankind on Earth have moved toward this season of the prepared, in-love-with-God people of the true Bride of Christ.

All history has brought us to this pivotal point of a massive remnant of chosen mankind prepared to accept the proposal of God.

God’s proposal is in the form of a question. It is possibly the most significant of all questions.

The question is not, “Will you accept me as your savior?” Nor is it, ”Will you make me Lord of your life?” And it is not, “Will you be filled with my Holy Spirit?” It is not even, “Do you love me?” Yet the proposal encompasses all these things and more.

GOD’S PROPOSAL QUESTION TO ALL CALLED AND CHOSEN PEOPLE OF GOD IN THIS NEW ERA OF TRANSFORMATION AND REFORMATION IS,

“WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

You may be asking, “What on earth does this mean?”

God has not left us without means of seeing and receiving unseen Spirit realities.

Natural creation is a picture of the unseen spiritual reality of God. By comparing spiritual reality to the natural, we can see in our hearts and perceive the unseen.

God’s created world and written word are visible patterns or pictures of the unseen Spirit realm.

Parables and parabolic style teachings are often used in the Bible to enable us to understand the unseen Spirit realities of God.

God’s created natural life and biblical plan for natural love and marriage is a true picture or parable of our love and marriage union with God.

Probably the strongest natural inner motivational force designed by God in human beings is romantic love between a young man and a young woman. In a strong romantic love relationship, the couple will give up anything and do whatever is necessary to be together in intimacy.

This is what is spiritually happening to us today in the natural reality of this season.

God in His Spirit-to-Spirit manifest presence consumes us in the liquid fire of His love. We will give up anything and everything to be with Him always and forever. Our whole life becomes empty and worthless without Him and it is indescribably beautiful, complete, perfect peace, and melted warm perfect bliss with Him.

We are completely in love with God. We are perfectly safe and secure in His great love and omnipotent power and wisdom beyond all creation, no matter what the world’s circumstances look like.   

God’s plan for the natural man and woman in love is to be joined together in marriage FORSAKING ALL OTHERS. When we are consumed in love with God, it is no problem to forsake all other gods in our lives.  

This perfect union is to bring forth children filling the earth with the people and plans of God.

This is a picture of the relationship of God with mankind. As we mature spiritually from spiritual babies to mature children and now to grown-up Spirit beings, we truly meet God in a new way.

Through all we have encountered growing up we desperately long for real mature love to fulfill a built-in desire for God within us. We are more than ready to connect with Spirit God as He manifests in His loving presence with us and in us.

We feel that we must be with Him, consumed in pure holy love that is far more powerful than romantic love in natural life. All our needs are completely met in the heavenly bliss of consummation in love with God.

THE WORLD IS TRANSFORMED

The groaning fallen world with its marvelously created systems is renewed as mankind becomes the true sons of God in total love and perfect union with God.

THE MARRIAGE OF JESUS AND HIS TRUE BRIDE

This is the season of the MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB -The time for becoming ONE with God.

GOD’S EXTREME HELP

The only thing standing in the way of many is experiencing the full intensity of being in love with God to such a degree that all other gods can be easily forsaken.

The good news is that to help people fall in love with Him, His extreme and very real presence is here now beyond measure for us to personally experience.

At the same time, massive works of God are coming forth to expose and undress or make visible the emptiness, darkness, and very bad end of the other gods of man’s making.

Our purified hearts in love with God allow our eyes to be open to see the fallacy of relating to the false gods of our past. There is no longer anything standing in the way of our marriage relationship to God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit. That for which we have longed is no longer out of reach but is now at hand.
