Moving but Staying in the Same Place?

The Holy Spirit often speaks to me through symbolism and metaphors. As I started writing, He revealed something unusual to me that was simple yet profound. He showed me someone getting up from a chair, walking around it, and then sitting back down in the same chair from the other side. At first, I thought it meant to rise from a place of complacency, but then I realized that it had a deeper meaning.

He said that many of you are trying to make an effort to step out of your comfort zone, your place of security and familiarity, only to return right back to where you started. You want to go to a higher level with the Lord, but then the enemy comes and snatches that seed that was planted in your heart because you are not rooted and grounded in Christ. Instead of having faith, you are ridden with fear and confusion.

Someone once said, “Every time I get closer to the Lord, the warfare increases. Every time I try to go to another level, I get knocked back down.” But the truth is, the closer you draw to God, the more protection and strength you receive from Him. (Photo via Unsplash)

A well-known prophet once said, “When you realize who you are in Christ, you will realize that you are behaving below your nature and living short of your potential.”

Move beyond Your Boundaries and Expand Your Vision

Jesus is calling every one of us to move beyond our boundaries and expand our vision. Complacency has no place in the Kingdom of God, or in this season. Serious times are ahead, but it’s also the Believer’s finest hour. When we rise to the occasion, and stop resisting the will of God, we will begin to see the Lord move mightily in our lives and ministries. We will then experience God’s divine intervention.

Some of you are held back by your unbelief, hindering God’s power in your life. You don’t realize that you could receive the most profound encounters during your greatest battles. Many of you may be in a season of barrenness, but that is about to change. We are about to come into a season of exponential growth, but first we need to move beyond our boundaries and get our lives lined up with the Word of God.

Jesus wants to raise the expectations of those of you who have lost hope. He is calling you to move forward with determination and a fresh vision.

Some of you are emotionally and physically traumatized, and Jesus wants to release you and set you free. You will have peace in your hearts and minds to make decisions that are divinely directed by Him. Confusion and discouragement will be a thing of the past.

Those of you who have been on the same spiritual plateau for some time will be catapulted into a new place.

Those who have been stagnant in their journey will find new levels of spiritual maturity and insight. Just as the Lord answered Jabez, He will also grant the request to those who cry out to Him. (Photo via PickPik)

A fresh move of God is upon us, so let’s seize the moment and get ready to break new ground and blaze new trails.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!’ So God granted him what he requested.” (1 Chronicles 4:10)

“Increase is coming, so enlarge your tent and add extensions to your dwelling. Hold nothing back! Make the tent ropes longer and the pegs stronger. You will increase and spread out in every direction.

“Your sons and daughters will conquer nations and revitalize desolate cities. Do not fear, for your shame is no more. Do not be embarrassed, for you will not be disgraced. You will forget the inadequacy you felt in your youth and will no longer remember the shame of your widowhood. For your Maker is your husband; His name is Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies! Your Kinsman-Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel! He has the title Mighty God of All the Earth!” (Isaiah 54:2–5 TPT)
