‘AT WAR?’ Barbara Yoder

In case you haven’t noticed, (tongue in cheek), we are in a war. The nations are in an uproar. Israel, the Middle East, Ukraine—Russia, Taiwan—China, I read this morning that the UK is on the brink of a civil war, France basically has no ruling government, northern Greece is literally on fire, I could go on and on.

It is easy to get swallowed up with overwhelming feelings of powerlessness. Read Psalms 2. Orient your heart, mind, spirit. God is at work in the nations sifting the nations. Multitudes in the valley of decision. We are in a season of harvest.

Harvest, always includes division and separation. The wheat is always separated from the chaff at harvest time. Nations are being challenged according to how they align with Israel and Jesus, the Christ. The God of the Scriptures. It’s even happening to us personally and corporately.

God is dealing with our personal “chaff” and how will we line up with Him.

But don’t get swallowed up with fear. Again read Psalms 2. Orient your spirit to the voice and sound of heaven. God is doing some astounding things.

I was just briefed yesterday of things that went on behind-the-scenes in the Olympics. Powerful things people (top level leaders) were baptized in the Holy Spirit. Top level leaders of the Olympics experienced encounters with God. Don’t focus on the problem, pray, pray, pray the heart, the mind, the presence of God into the situation. God is doing powerful things in the midst.

Isaiah says that in the midst of gross darkness, the glory is going to shine greater and greater. It’s going to break forth explosively. I’ve heard some of the stories firsthand from those who were in the midst of the Olympic Games top leadership.

Isa 60. Arise, shine for your light has come. The glory of the Lord has risen upon you. (This all happens in the midst of great, gross darkness) Look up! There is a glory being revealed beyond our wildest imagination. And it’s going to increase.
