1. ONE SMALL STEP INTO THE MOST PEACEFUL SPIRIT REALITY – By Ron McGatlin

Many if not most western Christian believers are truly trusting in Christ Jesus for eternal salvation to enter heaven after this life. The great hope of most of the western church and much of the world’s church is for eternal life in heaven after their death or perhaps the bodily return of Christ before they die.

The most pivotal truth of all time is the foundational pillar of faith of eternal salvation for all who receive the gift of eternal life purchased for us through Christ Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. The cross is the hinge point on the door of history of God and man on earth. Actually the door is swinging further open in this season of history revealing a beautiful view of the reality of a glorious restored life now in this life.

LIFE IN SPIRIT REALITY

More than an afterlife in heaven is provided in the resurrection life of Christ Jesus. Living in the Spirit brings heaven’s life to us now flowing through the door opened at the resurrection of Christ Jesus. Beyond having been reconciled by the death of Christ in the resurrection life of Christ, our life now in this world is being saved. It is being restored to as it was before Adam’s fall, and even greater in Christ and Christ in us.

“For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life,” Romans 5:10.

How are we saved by His life? Saved in this verse does not just refer to heaven after death. It means delivered, healed, and set free to live the restored life of Christ in us. The full love, power, and wisdom of heaven is available to all believers who will step through the open door into the realm of Spirit reality.

Many believers are discovering the nearness of this invaluable open door into life in the new and greater heavenly reality of life in the Spirit. The provision of heavenly life on earth is freedom from all stress, fear, and need. Living in communion with Spirit God as God originally created man to be in the Garden of Eden is now one step away through the door of Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit.

THROUGH THE VEIL

Why have many if not most true Christian believers in past generations failed to see and step through this door to life now?

There is a spirit force on earth that has blinded the eyes of believers to the true Gospel of the kingdom of God on earth that Jesus Christ proclaimed and demonstrated.

There is a fake god of this world that will be made completely null and void when the people see and enter this door. The only authority the fake god (the devil, Satan) has is that which is erroneously given to him by mankind. The fake god has no authority in heaven, but he has cunningly and deceptively usurped authority on earth from mankind. The disobedient godless ways of mankind empower the devil to steal, kill, and destroy on earth.

The devil has great intellect and higher knowledge of the ways and truth of God than natural-minded mankind. Therefore the natural man is defenseless against the invasion of twisted lies and thoughtful reasoning of the enemy implanted in the minds of natural human beings. However, the Spirit of God dwelling in Spirit filled and Spirit led man has all authority and power over the devil. Christ Jesus has completely defeated the devil.

Satan disguised himself as an “angel of light” and very cunningly invaded RELIGIONS of the world including the Christian religion and developed some fake or false doctrines and interpretations of the written word of God. Often “doctrines of demons” have some truth in them but have deadly poison lies mixed with it. Some demonically inspired doctrines have become strong traditions of men mixed with truth in religion. (2Corinthians 11:14-15) (1 Timothy 4:1) (Mark 7:6-8) (Colossians 2:8).

The devil may not fight as hard against the truth of going to heaven when we die, because his primary concern is continuing his false dominion of life in this world now.

By his deceptive processes he blinds the minds of human beings, including many Christians, to the Spirit reality of heaven’s rule and ways coming forth on earth now. (John 12:37-40).

THE FIERCE WORLDWIDE CONFLICT

Probably you, like many others, have been wondering why there is so much angry conflict besetting the world today? The nations with all their people are being divided as sheep or goats. The Lord is dividing the sheep to his right and the goats to his left. This is the source of the fierce worldwide conflict plaguing the world today. (Matthew 25:32-34).

In this season on earth, the great conflict of world history is coming to a head and soon the false reign of the enemy will come to its final end.

The masses of human beings who are deceived and blinded to the truth of God are empowering the enemy to rise up in violence.

At the same time, many human beings are stepping through the veil of religious and secular deceptions into the Spirit reality of heaven’s limitless life in the Spirit. This is releasing the powers of heaven to establish the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

Today there is a great awakening to SPIRIT REALITY in and through Holy Spirit led and Holy Spirit empowered believers on earth. The natural earthly heavens are alive with the love and power of powerful waring angels.

At the same time the earth seems to be filled with opposing demon forces of evil, darkness, hate, and destruction. The enemy forces are defeated at the cross and will dissolve away into oblivion as the people of God arise in the Spirit reality of the kingdom of God on earth.

SPIRIT LIFE VICTORY

Personally as a mature Christian believer, I remember asking God why some things about Spirit Christ indwelling mankind and becoming as one together with us was so difficult for me to fully grasp. He clearly spoke inside me, “It is because you think too much in the natural.”

I began to realize that the Spirit and Spirit things that are unseen are not understood by the natural mind. Yet they are far more important than natural things that are seen by our natural eyes.

Unseen Spirit things are like air or the wind. Natural eyes cannot see the wind, but we can see and hear what it is doing. (John 3:8).

Spirit created the natural and therefore has authority and power over all natural things. God is Spirit. Holy Spirit is God. Mankind was created a Spirit being with a soul in a natural body.

As natural human beings born under the fallen condition of Adam’s failure, mankind was separated from intimate Spirit relationship with Holy God. Mankind lost the intimate Spirit connection to Almighty Spirit God.

The death on the cross of Christ Jesus paid the blood sacrifice price for all of our sin or disobedience.

HOWEVER, IT IS THE RESURRECTED CHRIST JESUS THAT EMPOWERS REDEMPTION OF OUR LIVES NOW WHILE ALIVE ON EARTH.

It is the living resurrected Christ Jesus that by the Holy Spirit indwells us to bring forth His life in these mortal bodies.

Christ Jesus arose from the dead, returned to the right hand of the Father, became a life-giving Spirit, and returned in the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Christ to indwell those who yield their natural lives to receive His Spirit life as Lord and King.

And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam (Christ Jesus) became a life-giving spirit. (1Corinthians 15:45).

Spirit is like air or wind and can easily blend with other air and become one air. The characteristics of the most dominant air will become the characteristics of the whole new air. We can become one Spirit with Christ by the Holy Spirit. “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit,” John 3:8.

When the dominant Spirit of God in Christ fully comes into our spirit, we become one Spirit with Him. “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him,” 1 Corinthians 6:17.

Spirit Christ filling our spirit being with His Spirit transforms our spirit being into His Spirit Being. We become true Sons of God in this world as Christ to do the works that Christ did in His earthly body and greater works because the Sons of God are many bodies in unity on earth. (John 14:12) (Romans 8:14) (Hebrews 2:10).

The Spirit feeds the thoughts, directions, and creative empowerment into our minds so that we have the mind of Christ. The first and predominant characteristic of God that fills us is the pure LOVE of God. Through love, the wisdom and power of God flow into us, and our mortal bodies have put on immortality. (1 Corinthians 2:16).

As redeemed Christ Spirit beings, we become true Sons of God and are about our Father’s business of bringing forth His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. (Luke 11:2).

THE HUGE SMALL STEP

The larger than life small step is a step out of the self-governance of the natural soul (mind, will, emotions) as the authority of your life. After receiving reconciliation of the cross of Christ Jesus, Yeshua, Messiah by faith and spoken affirmation, the next huge small step is the surrender of your trust and dependency of your soul and body to the Spirit of God in Christ.

Essentially this is a move from the supremacy of natural life to Spirit life. It is stepping into the reality of intimate oneness relationship with Father God in Christ Jesus by Holy Spirit living and reigning in your heart where you once reined. It is a true death and born again experience into resurrection life. Death to the old natural fallen life and fully alive to the Spirit heavenly life of love, peace, righteousness, and the fullness of joy in the Holy Spirit now and forever.

Wherever you are in the process of life now, take your entire life into your hands and lay it down before Father God. Surrender the supremacy of self-governance of your soul completely into His hands. Give Him your total being to do with as He pleases. Express your total love and willing obedience to Him. Ask Him to fill your heart and life with His supreme Spirit life – to saturate your spirit, soul, and body with His Holy Spirit. Hear as God speaks His love and acceptance within you. Give thanks to God with your whole heart for choosing you to be His Son, joint heirs with Christ Jesus.

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit,” Galatians 5:25.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus,” Philippians 4:4,6-7.
