God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall;God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. | Psalm 46:1-7

The Lord is saying, “Do not fear the shaking, for I am with you; I am a wall of fire all around you (Zechariah 2:5).”

To many, things are feeling out of control; they are experiencing much turbulence through various circumstances. The enemy would seek to back you into a cave and cause you to retreat in fear, stopping your forward movement, but the Lion of Judah is roaring loudly over you in this season! I believe that the Lord is saying today, “Peace, be still! I’ve got this, and I’ve got you. Do not listen to the voice of the accuser, who would seek to whisper to you the lie that you are going backwards. The truth is, I am launching you, even in the midst of the chaos. My plans and purposes for your life will prevail, even amidst the heavy warfare and shaking that you’re experiencing. Who can stop the Lord, Almighty?

The Eagle

“Even as an eagle uses the wind to fly to higher altitudes, I am calling you to lean into Me. I will use the very winds of your storms to allow you to soar like an eagle above the taunts of the enemy. I am causing your roots to go down deep (Jeremiah 17:8). I am strengthening you, even through the current adversity. Refuse to fear, My Beloved. Truly the plans I have for you are good, and to give you hope and a future.

“Do not fear the shaking. I am with you, and I am working. I am fighting your battles, you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14).”
