FALLING IN LOVE – Ron McGatlin
Part 10 CHANGING THE WORLD
IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN CAUSE THIS GENERATION TO FALL IN LOVE WITH GOD?
Anyone who truly knows God falls in love with Him. Many who know about God have not fallen in love with God. They may have even done supernatural works using the name of Jesus but never truly intimately fell in love with God in Christ. (Matthew 7:21-23).
They have not yet entered the kingdom of God life on earth. The kingdom realm is the resurrected life of Christ flourishing in God’s Sons (male and female) by the Holy Spirit.
Entering the kingdom of heaven life now on earth begins with falling in love with God. Only when we fall in love with God can we lay down our life to become one with God.
“Falling” in Love involves an overwhelming total surrender to an all-compelling drawing of deep desire and need to be together as one that fosters willingness to lay down our life to give it to or for the one that we love.
In John 15:13, Jesus speaking to his disciples said it like this, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
Jesus also said, in Matthew 16:25: “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”
FALLING IN LOVE BEGINS WITH ACQUAINTANCE
Hearing and seeing with our natural eyes and ears can be a part of getting acquainted. Even hearing about or seeing images can begin an internal desire for more acquaintance. Hearing from someone about another very loving person having a desire to relate to you can further create interest in getting to know that person.
God’s love for us was demonstrated in that while we were yet sinners Christ laid down His life for us. (Romans 5:7-8, 1 John 3:16).
There is a problem here. The natural person cannot see the Spirit God who loves them. However, they can see the image and feel the love of God that shines through those in whom God dwells. They can also hear and read the love words of God from the written word of God and from friends who love God.
Loving and blessing those around us can demonstrate a visual reality of God and His love for them. Even loving and praying for our enemies can draw the fire of God to change them and allow the opportunity for them to see and hear the message of God through our love and words from God. (Romans 12:19-21) (Matthew 5 43-48).
HUNGER AND THIRST FOR LOVE
God designed mankind with a strong inner hunger for His love, specifically, a hunger for the love of God and a thirst for the interaction of communion with Him. There is an emptiness within all mankind that can only be completely satisfied in a continuing intimate love relationship with God.
In all of His creation, God had no mate who could not only receive His love but return love to Him. There was no one with whom He could intimately share a passionate love relationship. There was no other being or thing that could decide whether to be in love with Him or not to be in love with Him.
He created mankind (Adam) in His own image, without a mate. Adam saw all the animals with mates and realized that he had no mate. God agreed that it was not good for man to be alone. He made Adam’s mate from Adam himself. This is all a clear picture of God and His desire for a mate and how He created mankind from Himself to be His mate in love with Him.
Adam’s sin broke the love covenant relationship with God.
Mankind sought and developed substitute objects for his God-given deep desire for love relationship. In an attempt to satisfy the great hunger for the lost love relationship with God, mankind made many idols to try to satisfy his inner need for intimate love relationship.
All religious and secular idols of man are the works of his own hands under the influence of Satan and the powers of darkness.
Idols do have power in the lives of the duped followers. Fallen mankind receives a form of counterfeit life that seems like life to the deceived person. However, it always leads to disorder, evil works, stress, violence, sickness, and death.
False gods are created by the pursuit and lust for pleasure, riches, fame, position, competition, control, and more in an attempt to fulfill the great built-in hunger for the love of God in this life.
The first Adam’s sin broke the love relationship with God. The last Adam, Christ Jesus, came to make the way for the love relationship of God and His mate (mankind) to be completely restored.
IN THIS CURRENT DECADE OF THE 2020S, God is working in a mighty way to establish His kingdom of love on earth in mankind. Rapidly changing and extreme events are now changing life in this world.
TWO SIMULTANEOUS WORKS OF FALLING IN LOVE
THE FIRE OF GOD’S LOVE IS AT WORK
The fire of the love of God has inflamed passionate love that is engulfing the hearts of God’s chosen sons and daughters. We are being consumed in His love.
The great light of God’s love shining upon earth is exposing the evil darkness that has been shrouded in the fog of false gods of religions and great darkness.
In this hour of created existence, both death and life are coming to fruition in this world. Mankind is facing the death of our false gods. The demonic fruit of the idols of man are becoming blatantly visible for all to see.
A great division of those of the light and those of the darkness is taking place. Individuals and nations are being divided as a shepherd of old would divide his sheep from the goats. (Matthew 25:32-33).
Those who love evil will now rush toward the darkness to be annihilated in the earth-cleansing fire of God.
Those who love the light will now rush toward the great light of the love of God and be set aglow with the fire of the love of God.
All of the remaining trappings of darkness that were upon those who come to the light will be cleansed from them. Their idols will be thrown away and burned in the fires of pure love. Joy will surge forth from within them and perfect peace will flood their souls.
LOVE WILL TAKE US THROUGH
Do not be dismayed by the extreme changes and the turmoil of the great divide of light from darkness. Being totally in love with God in Christ Jesus will take us through the death of the past and the entrance into the glory of the love of God in His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
“For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 HE WHO FINDS HIS LIFE WILL LOSE IT, AND HE WHO LOSES HIS LIFE FOR MY SAKE WILL FIND IT. (Matthew 10 35-39).
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ON EARTH
The perfect love relationship of God and His many sons and daughters establishes the rule of God (Love) upon the whole earth. The pure holy love of God will fill the hearts and lives of His people.
No place will be given the devil in mankind. No longer will Satan and the powers of darkness have any authority to rule on earth. By this the devil and all evil forces are bound and locked away by the authority of the love of God in and with mankind on earth.
The full power and authority of the resurrected Christ on earth in and with His people will heal the brokenhearted, bind up every wound, set the captives free, console all who mourn, gives us beauty for ashes, and the oil of joy for mourning. We will rebuild the old ruins, raise up former desolations, and God will be glorified across the earth. (Isaiah 61:1-4).
This is the reality of the victory of God in and with mankind ruling on earth as it is in heaven. We prepare for battle, but God gives the victory.
THIS IS HAPPENING! IT HAS BEGUN! THIS IS NOT A DRILL OR TYPE FOR THE FUTURE!
Quickly choose this day whom you will serve. Fall in love with God. Seek His righteous kingdom of pure holy love to the death of mortality and the putting on of immortality. (1 Corinthians 15:51-57).
Step onto the narrow path and enter through the eye of the needle, the narrow gate, carrying nothing with you from the past.
Enter into the glory realm of being ONE with God. One Spirit with the mind of Christ, bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. Christ Jesus has come in the flesh. We have put on immortality of ONE Spirit with God in Christ by the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 5:30) (1 Corinthians 6:17, 2:16).
There remains no more death but a transformation at some point to our Spirit body. Thank you, Father, for changing us now and abiding in and with us to be and do our part of changing the world while we yet remain on earth.
Help us, Father, to know how to appropriate all the works and provisions of Christ Jesus to walk in the Spirit every moment, to fulfill the works of Christ, to establish Your kingdom of love on earth. Thank you, Father, for the intimate experience of Your presence with us uncovering who we are in Christ and Christ in us by Your Holy Spirit. Open our eyes, Father, to see as You see, to know ourselves and the world around us. Father, fill the earth with the glory of Your magnificence. Your kingdom come forth on earth now in us and in all the world. Your will be done and Your righteousness reign, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
