Evangelical group one step closer to reaching all 7,000 documented languages with the Gospel. “JESUS” has been viewed by billions of people around the world since its release in 1979. More than 200 million people have made decisions to accept Christ as their savior as a result of watching the film.
ORLANDO, FL (ANS, Feb. 13, 2017) – In an exciting development, Jesus Film Project® will announce the language group representing its 1,500th translation of “JESUS,” — the most watched film in history according to The Guinness Book of World Records — and provide an update on the impact of the film at this year’s National Religious Broadcasters Convention, ‘Proclaim 17’, in Orlando, FL, Feb. 27- March 2.
This translation is another step in reaching the un-reached people groups as part of Jesus Film Project’s Mission 865, according to a media release from A. Larry Ross Communications.

Josh Newell, Director of Marketing and Communications, Department, will be on hand Wednesday, March 1, 1:00-1:30 p.m. EST, in the NRB Press Conference Room Crystal L, to answer questions from the Media.
Mission 865 is Jesus Film Project’s initiative to reach the 865 language groups in the world representing roughly 323 million people who have not heard the gospel of Jesus. Mission 865 represents Jesus Film Project’s commitment to reach these groups with Jesus’ story in their own language by 2025.
