REJUVENATION OR STARTING OVER – Ron McGatlin

Probably most if not all of us have said or heard said by some mature person, “If I had only known then what I know now……” This is a sure indication that there has been growth of understanding and wisdom implanted in the heart regarding this life on earth. It may mean there has been increased wisdom enabling more realization of spiritual reality from Spirit God in our lives.

As we grow older, there may also be an awareness of less vitality of mind and body that slows or hinders our accomplishing the implementation and establishing of new works and projects of life and advancement in this life.

There is an obvious need for the wisdom of maturity to be joined with the vitality of youth to bring forward the overall goals or plans of the kingdom of God from heaven on earth.

One of the most effective works that the devil, the enemy of the kingdom of God, can do is to separate those of wisdom from the vitality and strength of youth. Indeed, Satan has been highly effective in creating the division sometimes called a “generation gap.”

THE SALVATION OF THE NATION IS REJUVENATION

We could write a lot about the cause of the current wreckage of the national culture through family destruction, educational failure through separation from God and family leading to perversion, religious tradition causing church systemic failure, and much more.

However, the focus of this article is national rejuvenation that leads to restoration and transition to the kingdom of God on Earth.

In a concise statement of truth, WHAT IS THE CORE PROBLEM AND WHAT ARE WE TO DO ABOUT IT?

The core foundational problem is: As a nation, we are not aligned with the plan and purposes of Spirit God, because we are not in LOVE with Him.

What we need to do about it is: As a nation, or as a remnant, we must fall in LOVE with God by turning our focus upon Spirit God and His presence with us now to worship and praise Him with our whole hearts, to hear and believe Him and His word and will for our lives, our nation, and this world.

GENERATIONS COMING TOGETHER AS ONE

We may be able to see that the rejuvenation of our nation depends upon the generations functioning together in the Lord as one group under God.

However, can this really happen?

I must answer that with a big YES!

I have seen and experienced this taking place in a group. Several years ago a youth group at the church we were attending needed something. Barbara my wife felt called to ask for them to meet weekly at our house.

We started meeting with the group in our home on Thursday evenings. We started with a home-cooked meal each week. My wife, myself, and a handful of teens, along with a couple of mothers started with dinner and lots of conversation.

From the start, the praise and worship music that was played from our phones with a Bluetooth speaker, primarily of current songs that were written and sung to God more than about Him, really were met by a very powerful manifest presence of God among us.

The adult parents and leaders became one with the group. Holy Spirit had taken over leadership. Girls began weeping and getting up to pray for and embrace one another.

The girls invited more parents to come be a part of the meetings. There were middle school girls and high school girls and boys, and eventually up to second-year college girls and boys. They invited others in their 70s who also became regulars in the gatherings. The glory of God’s presence and holy angels filled our small living room wall to wall and overflowed into the dining room.

The presence of God was always powerful many were aware of holy angels among us praising and worshiping with us. Words from God flowed from the youngest and the oldest, and confessions along with forgiveness from pure love flowed in abundance. Older teen girls shared practical advice with young teen girls. Mature adults shared wisdom of years and received life encouragement and excitement of youthfulness.

In the presence of God, there were no generation gaps at all. There was a blending together of all the different parts. Love flowed for God and for one another. The love of God filled the room and all fit together in order with each joint supplying its part to the others.

GOD’S FAMILY OF LOVE

There are no gaps in the family of God. All fit together and work together in the true unity of love. Each member in love never competes with the other but works with the other to supply their part in the family of God.

This cannot work even for a moment without being in love with God! Only by the HOLY SPIRIT of God filling our spirit and soul, our hearts, can the family of God exist and function. No amount of human effort, skill, or religious structure can produce the unity of God’s family. Gaps in the generations disorders the whole family.

Only the pure love of Father God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit can bring perfect order and unity to our families, tribes, nations, and the world.

We cannot fully experience being in love with God without the presence of Spirit God in us, manifested with us and in others around us.

Family is government, and love is the source of unity, power, and wisdom in the God family on Earth and in heaven.

BREAKING OUT OF THE SHELL

Individually and corporately kingdom people of God are like a fertile egg with a chick forming within the eggshell. The shell separates the forming chick from a world in which it cannot survive until it is fully formed. Without the hard shell to protect the embryo it would die and never be fully formed.

As the chick becomes fully formed the shell that protected it becomes a barrier between the birthing of the chick into full life in the world. The chick must grow much stronger to begin to break through the hard shell. When it is strong enough it begins to peck a hole in the shell and begins to breathe air for the first time. The oxygen in the air causes rapid strengthening and growth and the chick soon bursts the shell and begins to walk away in only a day or two.

Individually kingdom people of God are implanted in the eggshell of the religious church world with the seed or sperm of Father God containing the living DNA of Jesus and the real gospel of the kingdom. This living embryo of mankind implanted with Jesus and the kingdom of God has been or is being formed within the hard shell of the church and world.

Individually some are pecking out and some are walking away from the shell to establish Jesus and His kingdom fully into this world.

GROWING UP IN LOVE WITH GOD

Corporately, now in this season, the chicks in the eggs are hatching and some that have already hatched are waiting for many others to hatch. The older chicks that hatched first are showing the newly hatched chicks the ways to grow up and to scratch and eat for themselves and take up their part in developing the kingdom of God and the life of Jesus that is planted in their DNA.

The normal way of growth and development is for the mother hen to tenderly care for and help the chicks to grow to maturity. However, as these new kingdom chicks grow up the mother hen begins to realize that these chicks are different from her and surmises that they must not be her chicks at all. She begins to peck and flog them to chase them away from her. (Matthew 10:34-39).

Many of the kingdom chicks have already been killed while still in the shell by abortion or birth control coupled with the extremely highly inflated cost of birthing and raising a child. Yet, more are now being lost by gender distortion surgeries and treatments.

The church systems have become mixtures of the world and are not the true mother coming down from heaven, the New Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ, the true mother of us all in the kingdom. (Galatians 4:23-26) (Revelation 21:9-10).

Both the hard hatching process and the rejection of the mother hen are seasons of great strengthening and purification for the kingdom chicks to grow more in love with our mother from heaven and our Father God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit God of heaven and Earth.

The great and perfect love of God completely consumes the growing and maturing chicks into the fullness of maturity of true sons and daughters of the living God. The true family of God to bring forth His righteous way of His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
