Praise The Lord! Alabama’s Governor Vows to Fight Jesus-Hating Atheists after Auburn Lawsuit Threats

“I am proud to stand in support of religious liberty at Snead State Community College and Auburn University. As governor, I can assure you Alabama will never be intimidated by out-of-state interest groups dedicated to destroying our nation’s religious heritage.” -Governor Kay Ivey [ToddStarnes.com] A while back I told you about a revival service held at Auburn University. Hundreds of students converted to Christianity. Head football Coach Hugh Freeze was on hand to assist with baptizing the kids in a campus lake. (Screengrab image) It was a beautiful moment marred by a bunch of out of town atheists. The Freedom from Religion Foundation is now threatening to sue Auburn. They say it’s against the law for coaches to baptize students. The atheists also targeted the president of Snead State Community College in Alabama. The president would say grace over meals and shared a guiding Bible verse for the school semester. They accused President Joe Whitmore of “imposing his personal religious beliefs on Snead State employees and treating Snead State as a Christian college—rather than the secular public college it is.” They demanded an end to the “unnecessary, divisive and unconstitutional” prayers and Bible verses. But the Wisconsin atheists picked the wrong state to bully. Nobody messes with Jesus in the state of Alabama. The governor said that Alabamians will not be intimidated by out-of-state interest groups dedicated to destroying our nation’s religious heritage. “I am proud to stand in support of religious liberty at Snead State Community College and Auburn University,” she wrote on Twitter. “As governor, I can assure you Alabama will never be intimidated by out-of-state interest groups dedicated to destroying our nation’s religious heritage.” Well, praise the Lord and pass the popcorn. Good for you, Governor Ivey. And I believe I can say that the nation stands along the freedom-loving students and faculty at Auburn University. War Eagle, America! “…You are going to destroy this country you pathetic, narcissistic, compassion-mongering, lying actor.” -Dr. Jordan Peterson (Ottawa, Ontario) — [LifeSiteNews.com] Famed Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson has blasted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for condemning parents who protested the LGBT indoctrination of children at the Million Person March this week. (Screengrab image) On September 20, Canadian physiologist Jordan Peterson responded on X, formerly known as Twitter, to Trudeau’s condemnation of Canadians gathered Wednesday in cities across the country to tell school administrators and teachers to “leave our kids alone.” “Let me make one thing very clear,” Trudeau had posted on X. “Transphobia, homophobia, and biphobia have no place in this country. We strongly condemn this hate and its manifestations, and we stand united in support of 2SLGBTQI+ Canadians across the country—you are valid and you are valued.” “Let me make one thing very clear,” Peterson countered. “Once again [y]ou are on the wrong side of [h]istory. You are going to destroy this country, [y]ou pathetic narcissistic [c]ompassion-mongering lying [a]ctor.” Peterson was not the only Canadian to condemn Trudeau for his pro-LGBT, anti-family statements. “Your framing of the intent of the March 4 Kids is baseless & reveals a gross manipulation of the narrative. This just further validates your divisive mantra & overt focus on a woke ideologue!” one wrote. “The March was about protecting children from a sexualized curriculum not about any societal demographic or identity issues!” (Screengrab image) “Simply leave the kids alone,” chimed in independent journalist Keenan Bexte. Trudeau was not the only government actor to condemn parents concerned about their children. In fact, counter-protesters were expected at the events after leaked video footage of a Zoom call appeared online last week showing union leaders encouraging their members to oppose the pro-family efforts. The Million Person March against LGBT indoctrination in schools gathered Canadians of all races and religions in cities across the country, with thousands gathering in downtown Ottawa outside Trudeau’s office… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Continue reading Here. |

[RealClearPolitics.com] Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN), who was born in Soviet Ukraine, admonished Attorney General Merrick Garland at Wednesday’s House Judiciary hearing. Spartz said the Durham report makes the FBI look like the KGB, adding the DOJ has a “nice playbook.” “It’s like KGB. But when I read Durham reports, we have this—you have a nice, you know, playbook,” Spartz said. “First, let’s have a special counsel and then you don’t have to answer any questions here. Then let’s extend slow walk investigation on Hillary Clinton, on Hunter. Everything is slow walk. We were very quick on Donald Trump, but you were very slow walk”… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Click Here to watch the video and read the transcript of Rep. According to a report from NBC News, Sen. Menendez and his wife received $400,000 in gold bars from Fred Daibes, a New Jersey developer, in exchange for the senator interfering with a Justice Department investigation of Daibes when he was facing federal bank fraud charges. [PJMedia.com] Over the years, multiple scandals have cast a dark cloud over Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey. Not only had he managed to avoid accountability, but he was reelected multiple times as well. But it appears his luck may have finally run out, as he has been indicted on federal bribery charges, according to a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) Friday morning. (Image: Pexels) “A press event will be held today at 11:00 a.m. to announce the unsealing of an indictment charging Robert Menendez, US Senator from New Jersey, and his wife, Nadine Menendez, with bribery offenses in connection with their corrupt relationship with three New Jersey businessmen,” the post read. (Read the indictment below.) Menendez has been under federal investigation since October 2022. According to a report from NBC News, Sen. Graham said that the Biden administration has “done everything but take an ad out all over the world: Come to America, if you get here you’ll never leave.” [Newsmax.com] Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, told Newsmax on Thursday that the Biden administration offering work permits to almost half a million Venezuelans currently living in the United States will cause “another million to come.” (Screengrab image) Graham told “Wake Up America” that the United States has “completely lost control of the southern border, and how smart do you have to be to figure out what will happen next if you give 470,000 Venezuelans work permits, you’re going to get another million to come. People will be attracted by that move”… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Continue reading Here. |

“The baby in the womb is a human being deserving of rights. Because right now, according to Israeli law, the baby is not a person until his head emerges from the womb. And number two, we want to say that women are hurt by abortion.” -Sandy Shoshani, Be’ad Chaim (Gardens of Life, Israel) — [CBN News] Abortion opponents have organized the country’s first national pro-life prayer effort at locations such as Gardens of Life near Jerusalem. (Screengrab image: via CBN News) They recognize their fight is an uphill battle in largely pro-choice Israel. Sandy Shoshani’s organization, Be’ad Chaim (Pro-Life Israel) has saved an estimated 5,000 babies from abortion over the last couple of decades. It’s an ongoing effort because of the ease in obtaining the procedure here. Shoshani told CBN News, “The government pays for abortions. It’s free through our national health insurance.” In addition to changing hearts, she wants Israelis to realize two things. “The baby in the womb is a human being deserving of rights,” she said. “Because right now, according to Israeli law, the baby is not a person until his head emerges from the womb. And number two, we want to say that women are hurt by abortion.” Shoshani added, “Many women suffer from more drinking, depression. Suicide rates go up. Abortion hurts women.” She hopes to elevate the abortion issue to a level of debate in Israel that is comparable to the debate in America. In the US, pro-family advocate Annabelle Wallnau, who spoke with us on a recent visit to Israel, tries to help impoverished women be able to afford having their own babies. There’s much more opportunity now, since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade, sending the decision back to the states. “It was a big victory—a very big victory,” Wallnau explained. “And in so many ways, a lot of people took courage, even who were young and pregnant, to have their baby. And yet, there’s a big push towards having people discouraged into paying their way to other states to have those abortions. There’s a strange attitude about the death of the child in your belly.” (Screengrab image: via CBN News) She believes that creates dissonance. “So, there’s a huge distance—span—of people’s appreciation of life,” she stated. That appreciation is growing in Israel. A major step forward came 13 years ago, at a place called the Gardens of Life. There, at Latrun, (west of Jerusalem), women began planting trees to memorialize their aborted babies. Since then, the number of memorials has grown to more than 2,000. That’s why a major event of the prayer initiative happened here, as Believers worshipped and prayed that abortion will become a rare event in the Jewish nation. Shoshani is hopeful. “And I believe that as we call out to God and say, ‘God, would You please save the babies, would You protect the babies? And would You restore the broken hearts of the Israelis who’ve had so many abortions?’ We believe that God is going to answer and heal our nation,” she said. “We had a husband and wife come forward who were doubting their salvation and gave their lives to Christ to be baptized. Another family had a mom, dad, and child come forward to profess faith in Christ and were baptized. Some students who were saved on Tuesday came back to be baptized. We had two baptisms going on at one time. People weren’t leaving, they wanted to see all this.” -FBC Hodgenville Pastor Rodney Rogers [CBN News] Nearly 100 people made first-time confessions for salvation and 46 people were water baptized at a Kentucky church Wednesday. (Image: Unsplash-Adrianna Geo) First Baptist Church in Hodgenville concluded a four-day event where hundreds of people including elementary school-age students showed up to hear a message about Jesus. “We serve a big God and all things are possible through Him. We have to stop being pessimistic and start trusting and being obedient. We talk a lot about grace in the pulpit and church members are short to extend it,” FBC Hodgenville Pastor Rodney Rogers told Kentucky Today. Rogers explained that FBC Hodgenville took a unique approach to reaching people for the outreach. “I’m not the kind of guy who can stay in the four walls of the church,” he said. “The church is not meant to be kept in four walls. We’re supposed to be reaching people. The beauty of it is they have accepted the challenge.” The leaders of the church were able to get an evangelist in the public schools with an anti-bullying presentation for elementary and middle school students. READ Revival Flames Burn Brightly in North Carolina: 282 Baptized at Church’s Outdoor Event Pastors met with the principals last school year to describe the message and share their plans for this week’s event. “That’s a tough topic that happens everywhere whether it’s cyberbullying or physical bullying,” Rogers said. “He tells them they are here to get an education. At the end, he shared where he was going to be that night and we gave away free pizza tickets. In the evening, he speaks in the church.” The school outreach resulted in more than 210 students showing up to the church and 59 students coming to the altar for salvation on Tuesday night. “I asked some of our members, ‘When was the last time we had 210 students in church?'” Rogers said. “They said never. It’s a great thing and God is moving.” The following night, which was the last night of the crusade, they baptized 46 people and counted 100 salvations. “We had a husband and wife come forward who were doubting their salvation and gave their lives to Christ to be baptized,” Rogers said. “Another family had a mom, dad, and child come forward to profess faith in Christ and were baptized. Some students who were saved on Tuesday came back to be baptized. We had two baptisms going on at one time. People weren’t leaving, they wanted to see all this.” He said some people were spontaneously baptized. It was fantastic. It has been a fantastic week. Close to 100 salvations and baptized 46, with at least five more who couldn’t make it last night that will be baptized on Sunday. We may have 10 or 15 more.” Rogers says the church plans to continue to reach out to the community and even work with other churches in the area to see more come to Christ. “We’re all on the same team, trying to reach people,” he said. “That’s the mission.” Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Talia Wise serves as a multi-media producer for CBN News Newswatch, CBNNews.com and social media outlets. |
