THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD – Ron McGatlin
Is this the most massive season of cleansing, renewing, and establishing the real biblical word of God in this world since the first century?
Probably the Holy Bible is, after thousands of years, still the most misunderstood and at the same time the most important book of all history.
Hundreds of religions and many thousands of denominations and sects have formed around their differing interpretations of the written Word of God. Wars have been fought, and families, tribes, and nations have been divided. Unknown numbers of churches have split and then split again and again.
Thousands of books and commentaries are written explaining the different views of the written word. Immeasurable hours, days, and lifetimes have been spent in researching the minute details of the written word.
Certainly, most if not all of these have had a part or parts of the truth of Christ Jesus and biblical history.
Paul speaking of the end time in 2 Timothy 3:1-9 addressed the condition of mankind in the “last days.” In verse 7 he wrote, “always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
LAST DAYS EXTREME AND MASSIVE WORKS OF GOD
Much of the world is now in this season beginning to experience at some level the massive works of God to correct the core worldwide cause of the havoc mankind has made of life and the Word of God on Earth.
Like the generations before us, we really do not know what is going on by our human understanding, yet it is happening to us.
God’s love is by His Spirit changing our lives and our world beyond our human understanding through a personal intimate love relationship in and with us.
This current situation with God is like a godly young man meeting the godly young lady that he is to spend the rest of his life with. He may not understand why he feels about her as he does. And he may not know what to do with the intense things he is feeling deep in his spirit and soul.
Perhaps he had not planned to be married at least not so soon. And if he stops to think about it, she may not be just what he had thought his wife would be like. Maybe she is not as tall or does not have exactly the body shape he had planned on. The classes she is taking may not seem to be very compatible with the career choice he had previously chosen.
However, his deep love for her and concern for her and all things about her are so consuming to him that he just must be with her and express his love for her. He must be able to press her body firmly against his chest and cannot stand to be away from her. All his previous plans and ideas must change to agree with the much greater overriding love relationship. He knows in his heart that together they will be able to accomplish all the things that need to be done.
If he looks to his natural mind to make the decision to stick to his original plans of all that was in his mind, or if he asks advice of others who are not truly godly he could miss the perfect plans of God. He could become one who is “always learning and never coming to the truth.”
Remember this young couple are godly people not just Christians. They are in love with God and hear and usually obey Him. However, in their previous immaturity, the originally planned agenda may have been affected by cultural pressures and older authoritative people in their lives and may not be fully from God.
In other words, their preplan for their lives may have been developed by natural human understanding and may not be the real plan and desire for their lives from God. If this preplan is followed instead of the leadership of Spirit God it may cause severe damage and delay to the work of God in their lives and the world around them.
So it is with many today encountering the overwhelming love relationship in the manifest presence of God in and with them.
ONE LAST-DAYS HAPPENING
One of the great “last days” events is mankind experiencing meeting the love of our lives.
Falling in love and being married to Spirit God is accomplishing more than mankind has been able to do in two millennia of human understanding of the written word of God.
This is not a work of man or a nation, it is purely the work of God. The greatest of the last-days massive events, in my opinion, is the masses of people truly meeting God, falling in love with Him, and becoming one with the love of our lives.
People of God are awakening to experience life in the spirit as spirit beings in a deep love relationship with Spirit God. Marrying God in Christ is truly becoming the Bride of Christ.
IN LOVE WITH GOD AS THE BRIDE OF CHRIST IS TRULY BEING IN AN INTIMATE LOVE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE AUTHOR OF THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD.
Jesus said to the religious leaders of His day, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. I do not receive honor from men. But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. John 5:39-42.
We really can have the perfect Word Himself abiding in us to lead and guide us into all truth. There is much insight and deeper revelation of the Written Word in intimately communing with the Author. Jesus is the word of God. (John 1:1-4, 14)
God’s ways are higher than our natural ways. It is far more productive to live intimately connected with God’s ways through love than trying to learn through human intellectual striving. (Isaiah 55:9).
“But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.” 1 John 2:27.
SPIRIT GOD NEVER DISAGREES WITH HIS WRITTEN WORD!
Certainly, the Author of His written word will not lead us contrary to His written word. His love never disagrees with that which He says in person or in the written word.
HOWEVER, THERE IS OFTEN SEVERE DISAGREEMENT BETWEEN WHAT MAN HAS INTERPRETED THE WRITTEN WORD TO SAY BY HIS HUMAN UNDERSTANDING AND THAT WHICH SPIRIT GOD IS ACTUALLY SAYING.
God is in this “last days” season through pure holy love cleansing the hearts and lives of His chosen sons and daughters by pouring the ALL-CONSUMING FIRE OF HIS PURE LOVE INTO THOSE WHO COME TO HIM INTO HIS PRESENCE IN WORSHIP PRAISING HIM WITH THANKFUL HEARTS SOON OVERFLOWING WITH HIS LOVE.
Suddenly they begin experiencing the purity and righteousness of the love of God filling their hearts, souls, and bodies. They feel the filth of their unclean lives and see their phony facades of pretentious and religious ways. They now have fallen in love with the pure holy love life of God and must have it. They want to be washed clean by real baptism in water and in Spirit to remove all their old lives and begin brand new ones with God.
Church as usual will no longer do. They are sickened by it and feel in danger of losing it all in the lukewarm pool of true spiritual love lost.
THIS IS THE DAY OF THE LORD
Heaven is open and all-consuming fire is coming your way now. The same all-consuming fire that cleanses the convert who comes to His love, discards or dissolves all that is darkness.
Love never fails and
His kingdom never ends!
