“Whether it’s a judge in Washington State or Ohio or Washington DC or Florida, or Hawaii, the notion that you can issue a TRO, a temporary restraining order, and thereby try to bring a federal executive branch policy and executive order to halt. It’s completely anathema. It’s **** crazy. That’s not how the separation of powers works.” -Attorney Josh Hammer

[TheGatewayPundit.com] Since returning to the White House in January, President Donald J. Trump has been met with an unprecedented legal onslaught from far-left activist judges and groups determined to sabotage his administration… (Screengrab image: via AP)

Appearing on The War Room with Steve Bannon, Josh Hammer, Senior Counsel for the Article III Project, warned that what America is witnessing is not just judicial activism—it’s an outright judicial insurrection.

This is similar to how the communist left attacked him using a cadre of radical activist judges his first time in office.

After nearly two months in office, these radical extremist judges continue to wreak havoc on the Trump administration and the country.

So far, the Supreme Court has failed to shut down this lawlessness by these far-left activists… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here

[ThePostMillennial.com] Education Secretary Linda McMahon confirmed Tuesday that recent mass layoffs within the Department of Education are the “first step” toward dismantling the agency, aligning with President Donald Trump’s promise to abolish the department. During an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, McMahon was asked if the decision to lay off nearly half of the department’s workforce was part of a broader plan for a “total shutdown” of the agency. “Yes…actually, it is … Clearly we’re not taking away education,” McMahon said in response. “The president never said that. He’s taking the bureaucracy out of education so that more money flows to the states.”… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Click Here to read.

[TheBlaze.com] …This revelation regarding the use of an automatic signature device, coupled with evidence of Biden’s diminished agency while in office and previous allegations concerning his sidelining, has prompted some critics to wonder who was actually dispensing pardons as well as about the validity of the controversial pardons. Contrary to CNN’s assertion last year that the use of the autopen was “a rarity in the Biden administration,” the Oversight Project reported Thursday that nearly every executive order, pardon, and other consequential document researchers could find from Biden’s presidency bore a machine-generated signature… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Click Here to read.

This case represents yet another troubling example of government entities attempting to push religious expression out of the public square. The First Amendment does not merely tolerate religious speech in public forums – it protects it.

[ACLJ.org] The ACLJ has taken action in California to defend the constitutional rights of a church after Los Angeles County implemented a new policy that singles out religious groups for discriminatory treatment in the rules about the use of public beaches. (Image: Unsplash-Neal E Johnson)

For 18 years, Church on the Beach has been faithfully serving its community by holding worship services on Redondo Beach with proper permits from Los Angeles County. Approximately 120 people gather every Sunday morning to worship in God’s creation, with many attendees specifically choosing this setting because they have had difficult or negative experiences in traditional church buildings. The beach location isn’t merely a preference – it’s a crucial component of their ministry’s outreach to those who might never step foot in a conventional church.

The church members have been model citizens, carefully ensuring their gatherings don’t obstruct pathways, block traffic, or impede emergency vehicles. They’ve even voluntarily relocated during large community events to avoid any potential disruptions.

The County’s Unconstitutional Policy

In late October, Los Angeles County abruptly changed its policy, informing the church’s pastor that the Department of Beaches and Harbors would no longer issue yearly permits for religious activities. Instead, the County implemented a new discriminatory policy limiting “grandfathered” religious groups to just six activities per year, with the following restrictive stipulations:

•  Only two religious activities would be allowed with waived permit fees ($250)

•  The remaining four religious activities would require fees and be restricted to only specific locations (Dockweiler, Mothers Beach, Will Rogers T5)

The key fact: None of these rules apply to nonreligious groups. Even more concerning, a county official told the pastor that churches “don’t need the beach” because they can “meet in a building” – a statement that demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of both religious freedom and the specific ministry of Church on the Beach. The County has thankfully issued a temporary permit so the church can continue to meet for a few months; but once that extension ends, the church will essentially be shut down because of this policy change. There’s no alternative location for Church on the Beach to meet.

Clear Violation of Constitutional Rights

The ACLJ’s legal team immediately recognized this as a textbook case of religious discrimination. Public beaches, like parks, are traditional public forums where the government cannot restrict speech based on its content without meeting the highest legal standard of strict scrutiny.

As the Supreme Court has consistently ruled – including in ACLJ-argued cases like Lamb’s Chapel v. Center Moriches School District – the government cannot exclude religious viewpoints from public forums. When a government entity opens a space for public use, it cannot then discriminate against religious groups or religious speech in that space.

As the Supreme Court also stated in Perry Educ. Ass’n v. Perry Local Educators’ Ass’n, streets and parks “have immemorially been held in trust for the use of the public and, time out of mind, have been used for purposes of assembly, communicating thoughts between citizens, and discussing public questions … In these quintessential public forums, the government may not prohibit all communicative activity.” A public beach is a type of public park and subject to the same rules; religious viewpoints cannot be targeted for discrimination.

The ACLJ Takes Action

On March 6, the ACLJ sent a detailed demand letter to Los Angeles County, outlining the constitutional violations and demanding that the County immediately cease its discriminatory treatment of Church on the Beach.

Our letter made it clear that the County’s actions violate well-established First Amendment principles as articulated by the Supreme Court in cases like Widmar v. Vincent and Lamb’s Chapel. We’ve given the County until March 20, 2025, to provide assurances that this discriminatory policy will be ended and that churches will be free to use the beach under the same generally applicable rules as nonreligious gatherings.

Why This Matters

This case represents yet another troubling example of government entities attempting to push religious expression out of the public square. The First Amendment does not merely tolerate religious speech in public forums – it protects it.

When government officials try to relegate faith to the four walls of a building, they fundamentally misunderstand both our Constitution and the nature of religious liberty. For many in the Church on the Beach congregation, the outdoor setting itself is an integral part of their worship experience, especially for those who have had negative experiences in traditional churches.

The ACLJ is committed to ensuring that the First Amendment rights of all Americans are protected, including the right to practice one’s faith in public spaces. We will continue to fight for Church on the Beach and all Believers who face discrimination from government officials.

Through your prayers and financial support, the ACLJ can continue defending religious liberty across America. Cases like this demonstrate why our work is so crucial – because when government overreach threatens religious freedom in one community, it threatens it everywhere. In all, over 50,000 Christians have been slaughtered by various Islamist terrorist groups since [2009], mostly in the rural areas of central and northern Nigeria. Some estimates say the number killed is as high as 62,000 since the year 2000.

[WashingtonStand.com] As Nigeria continues to experience unparalleled levels of murder, kidnappings, and rape at the hands of radical Islamist terrorists targeting Christians and other religious minorities, a House subcommittee hearing held Wednesday concluded that the most populous country in Africa must be redesignated as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) by the US Department of State in order to pressure the Nigerian government to take more forceful action to quell the violence. (Screengrab image: via Al Jezeera)

According to the World Watch List 2025, the country where the most Christians were killed in 2024 was Nigeria, with 3,100 murdered and 2,830 kidnapped. These are only the latest acts of brutal violence that have plagued the West African nation since at least 2009, when Islamist terrorist groups like Boko Haram and the Fulani herdsman began a concerted and widespread campaign of violence. In all, over 50,000 Christians have been slaughtered by various Islamist terrorist groups since then, mostly in the rural areas of central and northern Nigeria. Some estimates say the number killed is as high as 62,000 since the year 2000. Approximately 48% of Nigeria’s 236 million people are Christian, and 50% are Muslim.

There appears to be no end in sight to the ongoing brutal violence. As noted by Committee Chairman Chris Smith (R-NJ), the violence has claimed “at least 58 lives this past weekend and hundreds of others in recent weeks.” In addition, at least 50 Christians were killed and dozens kidnapped in January, and a Catholic priest was murdered last week on Ash Wednesday.

In response to the unparalleled level of violence occurring in Nigeria, the first Trump administration placed the country on the State Department’s CPC list in 2020, which was designed to be accompanied by economic and other sanctions to encourage the government to crack down on the violence. But in 2021, the Biden administration removed Nigeria from the CPC list, which notably happened “one day before [Secretary of State Antony] Blinken went to Nigeria to visit with state leaders, including President Muhammadu Buhari,” according to Family Research Council’s Arielle Del Turco.

International religious freedom experts and religious leaders decried the decision and have been advocating for Nigeria to be included on the list once again. On Wednesday, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa held a hearing entitled, “Conflict and Persecution in Nigeria: The Case for a CPC Designation” to explore the issue.

FRC President Tony Perkins, who formerly served as a commissioner, vice chair, and chair of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) from 2018-2022, testified before the subcommittee on the need for the designation.

“I can tell you with certainty that the world is not paying enough attention to the growing humanitarian disaster in Nigeria, despite its strategic importance as Africa’s most populous country,” he remarked. “These warning lights are flashing because of this systematic religious persecution driven primarily by Islamists, and it’s going unaddressed. … More than 4,000Believershave been forced to flee for their lives in recent weeks alone.” (Screengrab image: via TCT Today)

After pointing out that over 3,000 Christians were killed in 2024, Perkins observed, “These are not just numbers. These are fathers, they’re mothers, they’re children, they’re families. The case of Leah Sharibu underscores the horror of this crisis. Leah was just 14 years old when Boko Haram kidnapped her and 108 other girls from their school in 2018. The terrorists eventually released all the girls except Leah. Why? Because she refused to renounce her Christian faith. Reports suggest she is still alive and now held as a prize by her captors, as she has been forced to bear children in captivity.”

Perkins went on to relate how former Secretary of State Antony Blinken tried to explain why Nigeria was removed from the CPC list, suggesting in a meeting with USCIRF members “that these massacres were caused by climate change, that desperate Fulani herders were simply looking for pasture land. Let me be clear. This is not about climate change. It’s about a violent extremist ideology that seeks to eliminate Christianity from Nigeria’s northern and central regions.”

Perkins further detailed how a country being designated with a CPC status can drive crucial reforms to protect religious minorities from persecution.

“The evidence [of religious persecution in Nigeria] overwhelmingly meets the legal threshold under the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998, which requires CPC status for governments that engage in or tolerate severe violations of religious freedom,” he explained. “That’s exactly what Nigeria’s government has done. It has failed to protect all of its citizens from religious violence. The … president has the authority to take action against CPC designated nations, including economic penalties. The US should apply targeted sanctions against Nigerian officials who are complicit in religious persecution, as well as suspend certain trade benefits until concrete actions are taken to protect all Nigerians. Religious freedom protection must be tied to US-Nigerian relations. The administration should make it clear that Nigeria’s treatment of religious minorities will directly impact diplomatic and economic relations, including trade agreements and security assistance.”

Perkins also argued that “the US must reappoint a strong, high-profile ambassador for international religious freedom. During the first Trump administration, this role was used effectively under the leadership of Ambassador Sam Brownback to apply global pressure on persecuting nations. The momentum for that must be regained.”

Another panelist included Nigerian Bishop Wilfred Anagbe of the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi, who Chairman Smith noted traveled to the US to testify before the committee “at great risk.” Smith also observed that Anagbe’s diocese “is where the worst of the violent persecution in Nigeria is occurring by militant Fulani, causing the highest number of displaced people living in internally displaced camps [which] are the source of daily attacks by the militant Islamic extremists.”

During his testimony, Anagbe revealed that a “long term Islamic agenda to homogenize the population has been implemented over several presidencies, through a strategic strategy to reduce and eventually eliminate the Christian identity, or of half of the population. This strategy includes both violent and non-violent actions, such as the exclusion of Christians from positions of power and adoption of such church members, the raping of women, the killing and expulsion of Christians, the destruction of churches and farmlands of Christian farmers, followed by the occupation of such lands by the Fulani herders, and also changing the names of these villages.”

Anagbe went on to relate how there is virtually no law enforcement in his diocese. “When we call for help to the police and the army, they do not come. At the end of 2024, several villages were burned by the attackers … and the leaders called the police for defense ahead of time. But they did not come, and the Christian massacres, almost customary, took place, killing hundreds in Plateau [State] and Benue [State], with the worst massacre claiming 47 people. The militants also burned down the eight Catholic churches of Saint Mary’s parish in the Diocese of Gboko and in Benue State, as well as the parish house, clinic, schools and other houses.”

Anagbe further described how millions of Christians have fled to nine different refugee camps in his diocese, where they still remain under constant threat. “We live in fear, because at any point it can be our turn to be killed. But to remain silent is to die twice. So I have chosen to speak.”

“We have to talk for the defenseless,” he continued. “We have to talk about the weak and those who cannot talk about themselves. … I speak on behalf of those whose loved ones have been killed, but no one has even offered a word of consolation to them. I speak on behalf of the thousands of young girls who have been abducted and raped because no one, not even the media, mentions them. Foremost, I speak on behalf of my flock, who are unable to worship freely and unable to return to their ancestral farms and homes because that land has been ruthlessly taken from them by the armed herdsmen.” Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here

Tens of thousands of acres of protected rainforest cut down in the Amazon for a **CLIMATE SUMMIT** highway. -End Wokeness, via X

[PJMedia.com] Brazil is building a brand new, four-lane, eight-mile-long highway that will make travel to the small city of Belem easier. Called “Avenida Liberdade” by the state government, it’s being touted as a “sustainable mobility project, incorporating wildlife crossings, solar lighting, and bike lanes,” according to Carbon Pulse.  (Screengrab image: via BBC)

The road required clearing tens of thousands of acres of Amazon rainforest. But it will be worth it. It’s being built to speed up travel to Belem for the 50,000 government officials, NGO big shots, activists, protesters, celebrities, and hangers-on who will attend the 30th annual Conference of the Parties (COP).

Even climate activists are upset about the road. The logs are piled high on either side of the road, which tore up protected wetlands. “Everything was destroyed,” said Claudio Verequete, who made a living from harvesting açaí berries from trees where the road is now.

“Our harvest has already been cut down. We no longer have that income to support our family.”

Brazilian President Lula de Sliva brags that the conference will be “a COP in the Amazon, not a COP about the Amazon.”

Professor Silvia Sardinha fails to see any advantage. Sardinha rehabilitates animals injured by humans in vehicles and says, “From the moment of deforestation, there is a loss.”…

“The most likely outcome of the current unrest is an explosive eruption (or eruptions) like those that occurred in 1953 and 1992. Alaska’s Mount Spurr, a stratovolcano located around 80 miles away from Anchorage, is expected to erupt as a result of the significantly elevated levels of volcanic gas emissions.

This is all according to the Alaska Volcano Observatory, which monitors the state’s many active volcanoes.

Their summary explained:

…The increase in gas emissions confirms that new magma has intruded into the Earth’s crust beneath the volcano and indicates that an eruption is likely, but not certain, to occur within the next few weeks or months

…The moon will turn red for more than an hour over North and South America [in the early hours of] March 14.

[CBN News] ANALYSIS: Skywatchers have a chance to see a “blood moon” unfold tonight. It will be visible across the US for about an hour starting at 2:26 a.m. Eastern on Friday morning. Peak viewing is close to 3 a.m. Eastern. (Image: Pixabay)

It’s the first in a series of remarkable celestial signs that will be on display in the coming months that could hold prophetic significance for our world. This series of four heavenly phenomena includes one solar event and three lunar events, two of which could represent a possible message about Israel.

It all kicks off with a total lunar eclipse known as a “blood moon” that will appear over the US on March 14, 2025. This particular one will fall directly on the Jewish holiday of Purim. That’s when the Jewish people celebrate the Biblical account of Esther when they were delivered from annihilation at the hands of an enemy named Haman in the Persian empire, which is modern-day Iran.

That first lunar eclipse will be followed by two more blood moons, with one coming this fall before Rosh Hashanah, and then the third one ALSO falling directly on Purim on March 3, 2026.

Bible prophecy experts say lunar eclipses, known as “blood moons,” are tied to events that affect Israel. And with antisemitism spiking around the globe, the ongoing war with Hamas in Gaza, and the massive Middle East shifts that have followed the October 7 massacre in Israel, the two Purim blood moons could hold special significance.

What Is the Significance of a Blood Moon?

A blood moon is a full lunar eclipse in which the moon can appear to be an eerie, blood-red color. Blood moons occur when Earth passes directly between the moon and the sun, preventing the sun from reflecting off the moon and casting a reddish shadow over it.

In the next such event, the moon will turn red for more than an hour over North and South America on March 14.

The cosmic moment will repeat on September 7, 2025, with an 82-minute “blood moon” that will be visible over Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. That’s two weeks before the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, which is a time of prayer and repentance.

Then, the third blood moon will arrive on Purim on March 3, 2026. It will be visible for nearly six hours from Asia to parts of North America.

Christian leaders who study Biblical prophecy, like Pastor John Hagee, have contended for years that blood moons portend significant events for Israel and the Middle East and, therefore, the entire world.

Hagee wrote a best-selling book about it called Four Blood Moons. “The heavens are ‘God’s billboard.’ He’s been sending signals to Earth, and we haven’t been picking them up,” Hagee explained a decade ago when talking about a particularly remarkable series of blood moons called a tetrad—that’s four blood moons within a span of two years.

The last time a tetrad took place was from 2014-2015, and all four of those eclipses landed directly on Jewish holidays, coming as the world endured the shocking and horrific rise of ISIS, the highly controversial Iran nuclear deal, and the previous Israeli war with Hamas.

That tetrad began during Passover in 2014. The final blood moon of that series took place in September of 2015 during the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles, which marks God’s provision and protection during the Israelites’ 40 years in the wilderness.

Significance of Blood Moon Tetrads in History

Historically, blood moon tetrads have occurred during some truly world-changing events directly related to Israel. (Image: Pixabay)

Three tetrads stand out over the last millennium, coinciding with major events for the Jewish people. They occurred from 1493-1494, 1949-1950, and 1967-1968.

In 1492, the Jews were expelled from Spain after severe persecution, and Christopher Columbus also discovered America, which would eventually become a safe haven for the Jewish people.

In 1948, the modern state of Israel was reborn as a nation in its original homeland, fulfilling a Biblical prophecy from Jeremiah 16:15 – “For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers.”

“After 2,000 years, God supernaturally brought them from 66 nations, and a nation was born in a day,” Hagee explained in a previous interview. “That, again, was a supernatural something that happened following the tragedy of the Holocaust.”

Finally, in 1967, Israel recaptured their capital of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War, which many see as an essential precursor to the eventual construction of the Jewish Third Temple. (The Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D.)

“In each of these blood moons, you have something that begins in tragedy and ends in triumph,” Hagee said.

The next tetrad of blood moons will occur in 2032–2033, exactly 2,000 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The first two in that rare tetrad will occur on April 25 and October 18, 2032. The last two in that series will fall on Jewish holidays – Passover on April 14, 2033, and Sukkot on Oct 8, 2033. A total solar eclipse will occur right in the middle of that tetrad on March 30, 2033.

Celestial Signs in the Bible & Jewish Tradition

Blood moons are mentioned in multiple places in the Bible, including in the book of Joel, the book of the Acts of the Apostles, and the book of Revelation.

Blood moons are first foretold in Joel 2:31:“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.” The Apostle Peter repeats that prophecy in Acts 2:20.

Then the … book of Revelation 6:12 says: “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.”

Capping off the four major celestial signs over the next two years, after the three blood moons, there will be a total solar eclipse in August of 2026, visible across Europe and Russia.

As Pastor Hagee previously told CBN News, “The evidence is very clear Scripturally that God controls the sun, moon, and stars—that God is sending us a signal through the sun, the moon, and the stars. The question is, are we listening?”
