Confronted By Love – By Ron McGatlin
Mar 1, 2017 | Articles, Recent Articles |
The age of the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God, is now within us and must come forth out of us into this world. (Luke 17:21) We are the seeds of the kingdom sown into the world. (Mat 13:38). This world and all of its governance must be returned to its true owner, creator, and the only true God and King. (1 Cor 15:24). Holy love from heaven has invaded Planet Earth to confront all evil, all that is not from God, and restore the earth to the kingdom of God through Christ Jesus our King and Lord. As we abide in Him and He abides in us by the Holy Spirit of God, the kingdom of God is coming forth on Planet Earth. (John 15:4).
The Love of God is confronting the once godly America and the western world.
America and the western world have come to an unpassable road block. The once God fearing nations have gone the wrong way in their journey of life and ruling in this world.
The magnitude of this condition cannot be overstated. Everything on Planet Earth is in jeopardy by the wrong turn made by the people of God. (Romans 8:22).
The political and sociological upheaval and unrest of this season is only a surface symptom of the deeper spiritual diversionary error that led to the corruption of the hearts and minds of the people of the nations. The nations that were destined to be the leaders of heaven’s recolonization of Planet Earth producing the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven, have turned away from the plans and purposes of God.
The Great Diversion by Religion
Man-made demonically inspired alternate systems and programs of philosophies, religions, such as secular humanism and others, have replaced the relationship with the Word of God, Christ Jesus, by the Spirit of God. This has diverted the nations from producing the pure holy love and life of God in Christ Jesus in God’s people on earth. (1Tim 4:1) (Mat 15:6-9).
In the “church systems,” the truth of the Word of God by the Spirit of God was mixed with the diversionary tactics of the enemy, producing a weak and powerless “Christian” religious church. This deadly error has led the world away from the path to the fullness of the kingdom of God on earth. (2 Tim 3:1-7). This is the road or the way that God is now blocking in order to turn us back to the way, the life, and the truth of God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit that leads to the fullness of the kingdom of God ruling and reigning on earth. (John 14:6) (Rev 11:15).
The Confrontation of Love
God is love, and love is always good, even when it forcefully confronts us – even when love stands before us blocking the way causing us to come to a dead stop. (1 John 4:8). God loves us too much to allow us to continue on in our journey on the wrong road. (Rev 3:19) (1 Cor 11:32).
As it is with a person, so it is with a tribe or nation. Though the person or nation may have started on the trail of the plan of God, along the way there has been a deviation from the way of God that leads to life to another way that leads to destruction.
God would not be a loving God if He did not do whatever is necessary to stop and turn His people back to the road of life.
Confrontation from another person is not fun or desirable for most, if not all of God’s people. Yet direct confrontation from God is certainly more severe than confrontation from anything or anyone else.
Dear friends, we have no reasonable alternative choice but to now surrender all to God and to endure the loving but abrupt change from the lives we have been trained to live by the corrupt systems of this world to the way of the kingdom of God.
The Key to Living Abundantly Through the Transition
A biblical word for this confrontation for transition is chastening. A dictionary definition of chastening includes, to: correct, reproof, restrain, subdue, rid of excess, refine or purify. God’s loving purpose is not to punish but to elevate us into a blessed life of love, righteousness, peace, and joy unspeakable and full of glory. (Heb 12:5-8).
Understanding the purpose helps, but here is the key. No chastening is pleasurable to the flesh. In the flesh or carnal natural life, chastening is devastatingly painful. (Heb 12:11).
However, there is no pain to those who are NOT in the flesh but are IN THE SPIRIT. (Gal 5:25). Only those who live by the SPIRIT and WALK in the SPIRIT will live fully in true peace and joy through the season of transition. Those with their minds and affections set firmly on things of the Spirit, things that are above, will not be touched by the season of chastening. (Col 3:1-3) (Psalm 91).
No matter what goes on around us, it will not come near us if we truly live in the Spirit reality of God. On the contrary, we may become a safe haven for believers and a rescuer of the perishing bringing many to repentance and into the walk of love, righteousness, peace, and joy IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, which is the kingdom of God. (2 Cor 2:15) (2 Peter 3:9) (Rom 14:17).
Beyond the removal of the tares and all that lifts itself against God is the brightness of the glorious kingdom of God on earth. (Mat 13:36-43) (Isa 2). God will be with His kingdom people. The continuous manifest presence of Father God in King Jesus by the Holy Spirit will be within and among the kingdom age people of God.
The end result is well worth the journey. However, even the journey is abundant life in the Spirit because THE END IS NOW FULLY WITHIN US. The kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21).
As we move on into more of this season, we do well to keep in mind that if the things going on around us are devastating to us, we are not living and walking in the Spirit.
Much love and blessings to you for this transition season of the world; rejoice and be glad in it for the kingdom of God has come to this world.
