“How to Experience Heaven’s Supernatural in Your Life!”

Lots of people ask about the supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Although we shouldn’t seek for “signs” to lead us, it’s perfectly normal to want to experience God. You can’t wholeheartedly love only what you know in your head. A relationship can’t be just a mindset about someone. I have a mindset about the devil, but I don’t want to invest in a relationship with him.

You can’t experience the supernatural just by wanting to – you have to engage and believe.

The Bible says to “desire spiritual gifts” [1 Corinthians 14:1]. If you have a desire then you will go forward and engage in receiving. Everything in the spirit realm we receive by faith. That’s the way God ordained it. Jesus said that when you pray, BELIEVE and then you will receive, so we believe first.

I’m going to tell you a simple story, but I believe it will help you understand what I am saying. Faith isn’t trying and striving, but you can decide what you believe. “For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him amen, to the glory of God…” [2 Corinthians 1:20]. So God does want you to receive all that He has provided for an awesome spiritual life.

Visions, words, angels, visitations, heavenly experiences – they are all meant to be a part of your normal, Christian life. If you have a problem receiving, just read below how it works – how to engage by faith with Holy Spirit.

Decide to Believe What You Begin to See

Some years ago I was ministering in Sydney at a great church. We had an anointed conference, and on the last morning the pastor asked me to pray for people at the end of the meeting. She said, “A lot of people have never had a vision and would like to experience that.” (Photo via Godfreephotos)

At the end of the meeting, I asked if there were people who would like to have visions but had not received that manifestation, and I invited them to come forward and I would pray for them.

60 plus people came forward; I was amazed that there were so many Spirit-filled people not moving in the gifts, especially visions, which are in your spirit all the time.

I gave some instruction about believing what you begin to see. If you believe what you begin to see, then you will see more. I prayed and just sat and waited. Everyone had visions and was excited. I asked if there was anyone who did not get a vision. One tall guy named Desmond spoke up and said, “I didn’t see anything.” So I said I would pray again, and I told him to believe what he BEGAN to see.

He stood there with his eyes closed and I waited about 5 minutes. Then I said, “What did you see?” and he said, “Nothing.” I said again, “What do you think you saw?” He replied, “Well, I thought I saw a river.” So I started asking him about the river. “Who was by the river, Desmond?” He answered, “Jesus.” I asked again, “Who else was there by the river?” “Me,” he said.

I pressed on, and Desmond was seeing the vision again now. “What was Jesus doing?” I asked. “Talking to me,” he replied. “What did He say?” I asked. Desmond began to tell us, and then began to prophesy for about 20 minutes! We all sat there astounded.

So you see, the Holy Spirit started moving as he started believing what he saw – because God moves in our faith.

If you want to see angels then you have to believe you do, and then you will.

I remember one time my friend from Orlando brought her son to my house; they stayed the night on their way to somewhere else. Her teenage son was very skeptical about the supernatural. I told him the Lord would show him – if he gave God a chance. He was willing to do that, so I prayed for him and asked him to just sit and wait. (Photo via Pixabay)

He sat with his eyes closed for about 15 minutes and then said he didn’t get anything. I asked him, “Do you see the chariot in front of you with the door open?” “No,” he replied. I told him, “Well look again, and when you see the chariot door, hop in.”

Well, he sat there a little while when suddenly he was very still…like someone in a trance. We left him alone for about an hour. When he “came back” he had been in a chariot, and the Lord had taken him to all kinds of places. He became a believer in the spirit realm.

The spirit realm is a hair breath away – if you would just believe when you begin to see. When you see, believe. When you hear, believe. When you sense the presence of the Holy Spirit, immediately yield and see where you go. It will be good.

Operating in the gifts of the Spirit is like having tools in your tool box. When the workman comes to fix something, he brings out the tool that he needs. So when you are ministering to someone, you use the tool you need – maybe a word of knowledge or a vision or a prophecy; even a tongue and an interpretation.
