I Will Sustain You
– January 06, 2008
“Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all you who remain
of the house of Israel, you whom I have upheld since
you were conceived, and have carried since your birth.
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he,
I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and
I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Isaiah 46:3-4 (NIV)
I will sustain you. In me you will prosper. Through Joseph
there was protection and food in Egypt when all about was famine.
Each morning there was fresh manna provided in the wilderness,
enough to sustain the nation. Each day I sent the raven to feed
Elijah while at the brook Cherith.
I am Elohay Elohim, the God above all other Gods,
yet I am tender and care for those who are mine.
I am your provider and protector. Seek after me.
In all your ways follow after my precepts. As I fed others
in your past, so I will sustain and feed you.
Partake of the bread of life. I am El Shaddi your provider.
I will sustain you though the enemy would come against you.
I am calling you into me. Be steadfastly focused in me,
for the soon-coming times of trial and shaking. The tactic
of the evil one is fear. He comes to torment and bring death.
But I am the life. In me there is peace. My ways and people
are truthful and trustworthy. Learn to depend upon my discernment.
No longer can you trust what you once knew.
Do not fear for I am with you. The peace of my presence
is available to all whom come to come. Be sustained in me.
Amen!!
Steven,
This word and the one you posted on the day before, the 20th, I just am reading today, and you have no idea how meaningful and spot on they are for me personally and circumstances surrounding those two particular days. Incredible, gracious Father.
Amen, amen. And, thank you…
