And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God; and he took a large stone (emblematic of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Living Stone) and set it up there under the oak that was by the sanctuary of the LORD (Apostle Paul declared that Believers are living sanctuaries that house the eternal GODhead) Joshua said to all the people: Behold this stone shall be for a witness against us, for **it has heard all the words of the LORD which He spoke to us** thus it shall be for a witness against you (to serve the Lord God and Him alone) so that you do not deny your God.”
As you come to Him, the living stone (Jesus Christ, the living Witness and Word), rejected by men, but chosen and precious in God’s sight you also, like living stones (Spirit-filled witnesses of the Word) are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it stands in Scripture: “See, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and precious cornerstone(Jesus Christ) ; and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame. (1 Pet. 2:4-6)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit (John instructed that the Holy Spirit speaks what He hears the FATHER say) comes on you (made available as a gift through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ) and you will be my witnesses (living stones) in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
