Prayer: Heavenly Father,
Help when the sudden and unexpected happens in our lives. We didn’t see it coming. The unavoidable, train-wrecks our emotions. Our vulnerability bares us to the bone and marrow. We submit to your discerning grace. Clothe us with renewed hope. We should not be surprised at your faithfulness, but we are. Our search for healing draws us to the simple prayer of a child, cradled in the surrendered hush of a quiet spirit.
