A vision was shown this morning in symbolic form which revealed the struggles that backslidden and returning Believers are undergoing:

    VISION:

It began with keys being shown next to a radio/cd player.  The Words “LISTEN TO IT” were spoken. Suddenly an orange floated in view.  A very thin blade began meticulously and carefully peeling away the skin from the orange from top to bottom.  It was the first peeling and it went as far down to the middle of the orange.  It was clear that the peeling would continue.

    INTERPRETATION:

The keys beside the radio/cd player conveyed that a Word of knowledge would be spoken and shown. The orange symbolized a particular Believer who has recently returned to GOD.  The skin of the orange represents the outer portion of man that is exposed to the world – in this case, it is biblically likened to the flesh.  It was significant that an orange was shown rather than other fruit because its skin can be rather tough and sometimes difficult to peel.  So tough at times, that only a blade can do this work without ripping out the delicate fruit on the inside.  Without doubt, the blade represented the sharp edge sword: that is to say, the active living Word of God. The color of the orange was also meaningful because it biblically represents the fire of God, deliverance and passionate praise.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit (the spiritual part) and of the joints and marrow (the fleshly part) and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” (Heb. 4:12-13)

“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another.”  (Gal. 5:16-24)

I was moved to share this vision for the glory of GOD and for the edification of HIS church.  Despite the lawlessness and wickedness so prevalent in our world today, many who have backslidden are being called and are returning to HIM.  And with this calling comes the peeling away of the flesh from the outside world. And that it lovingly behooves those whom the Holy Spirit shows such things to, to encourage these people in the unadulterated knowledge and truth of the Word, to pray for them and to emphasize the importance of worshipping God through it all as this can be a painful fiery process when the flesh is delivered from temptations, carnal habits and worldly affections.  But, at the same time, a truly awesome experience that will bear glorious, edible fruit of righteousness unto the Lord!

We are living in and witnessing a great time of change!  And with it, some prodigals are returning!  Praise GOD!  And thank you Lord Jesus Christ for making this inner work possible through your own finished works.

    Keep the Faith,

    Suzanne
