“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.” | Revelation 22:17

The Lord continues to woo His bride into a place of deeper intimacy and encounters with Himself. Oh, how He longs to be with us! We are the apple of His eye, just as it is written in Song of Solomon:

“You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes” (Song of Solomon 4:9).

Even in the midst of the distractions, transitions, and shaking that are taking place, I believe the Lord is calling us to come away with Him. Truly, better is one day in His courts than thousands elsewhere (Psalm 84:10).

I believe the Lord would encourage you today, saying, “Continue to press into Me above the noise, and you will hear My still small voice. I will make your crooked places straight and your rough places smooth (Isaiah 45:2). I will speak peace to your raging storms. My peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you (John 14:27). Truly, all you have need of is found solely in Me. As you continue to linger and abide in My presence, those burdens and cares will melt away. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Come to Me and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30). By Me and through Me, all things are being held together.”

“He is before all things, and in him all things hold together” (Colossians 1:17).

“Your very life is in My hands, and you are safe with Me,” says the Lord. Fear not and fret not, My love. I’m calling you to come away with Me.”

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever (Psalm 23).
