“Thy Kingdom come, in earth…”
We are at the culmination of God’s plan for His creation and His man. Now, is to be manifest to principalities and powers and to the world, God’s Government in earth and His glory. God’s glory is to fill the earth, “as the waters cover the seas”. His glory is to be shown forth to a chaotic world, in and through totally “dead to self” Christians. It is God’s plan, this is; “The Gospel of the Kingdom”. This is His work in us and the hope of our calling.
“Thy Kingdom come, in earth….”
People everywhere in the earth are looking for answers. However, few look to those who call themselves Christians for answers. That is because, for generations, the church has not manifested to the world much of the true nature, wisdom and power of God.
The condition of natural Israel when Jesus was revealed to them as “the Son of God” parallels the present condition of “the Church”, the Israel of God, today.
Mat 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Because of corruption, self-aggrandizing leadership and disobedience, the nation of Israel did not continue to walk in her God ordained destiny. The nations of the earth found Israel in derision, a people to be conquered, taxed and used to their own selfish ends. The nations saw little or no reason to fear the God of Israel, His people or to try to emulate her in any way.
There is a principle in God; first the natural, then the spiritual.
So, with natural Israel……so has Spiritual Israel tracked in their shoes, in type, for over two thousand years. Like Israel of old, the church has been too long in the wilderness of testing because of disobedience and the leavened doctrines of man.
Pride, arrogance, disobedience and the like, will not only diminish leadership but, sadly, disobedient leadership also diminishes those multitudes who continue to follow dysfunctional leaders.
Yet, following nearly four hundred years of Biblical silence after Malachi came; Jesus the Christ, the promised Messiah. He came out of His wilderness of testing after a lifetime of obscurity. He came; Jesus, born of a woman and born of the Spirit and son of man of the lineage of David. Jesus is our pattern Son, who grew in grace and stature and in favor with God and man until his Manifestation or revealing by John as; “The Son of God”.
He came, but He did not come in the manner in which the religious leadership of the day said He would. He came, not on a white charging horse with the visible armies of heaven following him. He did not depose the ruling Roman empire. He did not even so much as set up an earthly government in Palestine, let alone the whole earth.
So, He came unto His own and because of dysfunctional leadership who embraced the doctrines of men and not of God, most of the nation of Israel did not recognize the day of their promised visitation and they “received Him not”, to their own national destruction.
Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
By the Holy Spirit, “the Church”, today, can connect the dots or…remain entrenched behind denominational walls of divisive, leavened eschatology and reap what they have sown….Yet, ever short of their God ordained purposes and destiny in the earth.
Moses, even Moses, was never permitted to enter into the land of promise and fulfill His God ordained mission on the earth because of disobedience. Yet, we see him, later, on the Mount of transfiguration, in the Spirit, conferring with Jesus…His eternal destiny differing from His earthy usefulness to God.
Jesus came to save men’s lives not to destroy them.
His government or Kingdom, which is first within us, is destined to be administered in and through a “first fruits” of believers, in the earth that is the spear point of God’s army. Even now, these are emerging and joining together to fill the earth with the glory of God and in whom God will Glorify His name again, even as Jesus did.Jesus, while in His wilderness of temptation and testing, had refused to receive the Kingdoms of this world from Satan, when Satan offered them to Him. Therefore, Jesus was given all power and authority, both in heaven and in earth, from none but God the Father, who had appointed the cross as the only path to the crown.
And so it is for those in the Body of Christ that are made unto our God “kings and priests”: who shall reign on the earth with Jesus, now. The only path to this place of most honored servitude under Jesus, on the earth, is the path of the cross.
Say not that there is another four months unto the harvest….. for: “the time is at hand”.
Now, will His manifest righteousness, love, wisdom, power and authority, as Jesus did, once again glorify the Father in the earth. Now, will flow; not trickles, but rivers of living water for a dry and thirsty world.
Now, His light in us will be overwhelming and the darkness of this world cannot but “give way” to this light.
2Th 1:10 (from the Aramaic Peshitta text) When he shall come to be glorified by his saints, and to perform His wonders among His faithful ones, so that our testimony concerning you may be believed …in that day.
Like unto the first, glorious, early morning light in the East that spreads first upon the mountain peaks; comes the dawn of this 3rd day of God’s new creation. Yet, men sleep in gross darkness in the valleys and low places, unaware that the light is at hand.
Psa 37:6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
Joe 2:1-2 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick
darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great
people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither
shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.NOW we have come to this point in the culmination of Gods plan. Many will see the manifestation of God’s glorious plan that multitudes of Saints before us could only see by faith……..but none could fully fathom or fully participate in, without us.
See now, by the Spirit, the reality that; this is our day of visitation “the Kingdom or Government of God is; “AT HAND”.
John the Baptist came out the wilderness preparing the way of Jesus. He came crying; “Repent, (think differently) for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”. So, we hear the cry again today;
“Think differently, the Government of God is here, now”.Not in some abstract way…but ready to be shown forth to a chaotic world, in and through, totally dead to self, Christians. It is God’s plan, this is; “The Gospel of the Kingdom”. This is His work in us to be manifest to a dark and dying world…. NOW.
This has always been; the hope of our calling. Which is; “Christ in us, the hope of glory”.
Isa 60:1-3 (Amp.) ARISE [from the depression and prostration
in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life]! Shine
(be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, ]
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness
[all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and
His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your
light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.~ ~ ~
