“We Are in a Massive Transition – Right Now” Madeline James,  Lexington, KY There was so much anticipation coming into 2018 because of the weight of what this year represents—the year of the open door and new beginnings. Over the past few weeks, I have sensed such transition happening in the realm of the spirit. This is manifesting in the natural through transitions and uncoverings in the governmental realm, entertainment world, sports mountain and in the Body of Christ. Most notably in the last few weeks transitions are occurring in ministries and relationships. I recently released a word that God was issuing a garment change to the Body of Christ. Transformation and Metamorphosis The Lord began to show me 2018, the year of the open door, is really the open door to transition for the Body of Christ on a large and personal scale. Transition can be defined as “movement, passage, or process of changing from one state or stage to another”. Many in this hour are in the hallway or the passage of transition. Transition is the space between your last season to the promise of your new. Transition is the place of transformation and metamorphosis. Metamorphosis is defined as “a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one”. As Believers, we should always be in a place of movement and transformation. The more we behold Him, the more we become like Him, going from glory to glory. He’s maturing the immature places in us. Prophetic Significance of the Year 5778 According to the Hebrew calendar 2018 is the year 5778. The prophetic meaning behind these numbers is significant. 5 is the number grace. Grace is God’s supernatural empowerment that enables you to do or accomplish what He has ordained for your life. Zechariah 4:6 declares, “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts.” The Lord is going to release the grace you need to empower you through this transition. 7 is the number for perfection and completion. In this season you’re going to begin to see the Lord close a lot of chapters in your life in ministry and relationships, etc., because He is opening new chapters in your life. 8 is the number of new beginnings. In order to walk in new beginnings, you have to let the old things go and die. So many times we try to put a comma where God has put a period. This is especially concerning relationships in this hour. When God removes someone from your life, it can be because the assignment is over, or they can’t go where He’s taking you, or He’s protecting you. Soon enough you will see what the Lord is doing. Transition in Every Realm of Society The Lord showed me 2018 and 2019 will be years of massive transition that will pervade every realm of society. Recently, the Lord revealed the gates of nations would be opening up. There’s a changing of guards getting ready to take place in different governments. Where there has been no access for the Gospel or for change, the Lord is dealing with those principalities, and nations that were closed off will be to open us. There will also be uprisings of nations where the people have become tired of the corruption and they will take back their country. The shaking is going to continue to intensify. The Lord is shaking everything that can be shaken and causing the pure to rise in this hour. Many of you are going through the growing pains of your transition. He’s pruning you in this season. The Lord is cutting off dead branches that are no longer producing fruit, and cutting back areas that are overgrown or overshadowing other things. Your decrease is positioning you for more. “Behold I’m doing a new thing…” (Isa 43:19). Don’t miss it. A Change in the Body of Christ There will also be changes in the Body of Christ. The Lord is raising up houses of prayer and houses of glory. Those who will throw out worldly church agendas and contend for the glory of God will experience a move of God like never before. God is also shifting, disconnecting and connecting different voices in the Body for new assignments for such a time as this. Don’t get consumed with all the “noise” going on. Stay humble and keep your eyes on the Lord. He will lift you up at the right time. In 1 Corinthians 16:9 Paul, says. “…a great door has opened wide for me to do effective work, although many people are opposing me.” Don’t let the warfare distract you, but keep pressing forward and stay hidden in Him. The enemy wants to provoke you to step out of the shelter of the Most High so he can take you out. Stay hidden and humble, and let the Lord fight for you. It’s a season of revealing hearts. Those who are willing to humble themselves and bow low in the open door of this year shall prosper.
