February 11, 2021 at 10:52 am #20850Lily DeschampsParticipantYou are confirming a recent vision, Clu. The Lord has been more than patient with a church that has been mocking, adulterating and twisting His Word. Judgment is coming. And it is coming with fire.
Keep the Faith,
Suzanne

February 2, 2021 at 7:27 am #20754Lily DeschampsParticipantHello Clu,
Thank you for sharing those verses. Psalm 37 is awesomely rich in meaning. Without doubt, Jesus also had these scriptures in mind when He taught the parable of the wheat and the tares (v2). All conciding with the latter days. It is amazing to think that we are reading and studying the same comforting and prophetic scriptures Jesus also read and studied. And because we are of the same mind in Christ, the Holy Spirit shares the same thoughts with us, even now, thousands of years later.
Much blessings to you my dear Sister in Christ,
Suzanne

To refuse the New Covenant now is to refuse Jesus’ sacrificial death on the Cross more than two thousand years ago. The New Covenant is inexorably tied with Jesus’s sacrifice. You can’t have one without the other. GOD writing His laws in the hearts and minds of His people was prophesied by Jeremiah in 31:31 for a future time coinciding with the appearance of Jesus on earth. The New Covenant was activated when the temple veil rent in half from top to bottom after the Lord expired. This signified that the Adamic chasm that had separated man from GOD, from heaven and earth, was reconciled by the blood of the second Adam (1 Cor. 15:45). Not only was the plan of sacrificial redemption accomplished but a better way to receive GOD’s laws in our hearts and minds was made available through the Holy Spirit. Subsequent to the shedding blood of the Lamb, each Believer has become the temple able to house the living Holy Spirit of GOD, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, the indwelling Vice-Regent appointed by GOD to refine us, purge us, sanctify us, show us things to come. The gift given to us through Jesus’ finished works. “I will send you another Comforter…” (Jesus) Apostle Paul further instructed: “Do you not know that you are the temple and the spirit of GOD dwells in you?” “Do you not know….” apparently Paul was speaking to some who still did not get it. Believers are recipients of the New Covenant, marked by the Blood of Christ, and recipients of His Holy Spirit through whom GOD’s laws are activated in our hearts and minds. (Jn. Chapters 14, 15 and 16). All one need do is to faithfully believe in Jesus’ finished works and remain obedient to His Word (Jn.14:15). To deny the New Covenant denies the Crucifixion and dangerously places an individual under the effects of the law; they are separated from GOD and HIS kingdom because they are outside of HIS realm and protection. (Rom. 8:2)
Tragically, many have not yet received Jesus as Lord and Saviour and His New Covenant plan – they have become dull of hearing. And as scriptures teach many won’t receive the Lord until after a great tribulation. For them applies the scriptures….after that time”. Sadly, most Jews still do not accept Jesus as the Messiah – they are still awaiting Him. They are, consequently, unable to receive GOD’s laws in their hearts and minds due to unbelief. I am guessing….and hoping that this is where you get conflicted. “Do you not know?….”
Related Verses:
And he took the bread and gave thanks and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you, this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper saying, This cup is the new testament (covenant) in my blood which is shed for you.” (Lk. 22:18-20) (The New Covenant is sealed in Jesus’ shed blood for those who will receive Him and His finished works). Not everyone received it then, not everyone is receiving it now….the call to return to GOD is still going out).
Who (God) hath made us able ministers of the new testament (covenant) not of the letter, but of the spirit for the letter killeth but the spirit giveth life. (2 Cor. 3:6) (the consequences of sin is being under the law and death but the Spirit who abides in us prompts us to avoid sin – here is the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts and minds).
But NOW hath he obtained a more excellent ministry (already obtained) by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless then should no place have been sought for the second……But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands that is to say not of this building. (Know you not that you are the temple and that the spirit of God dwells in you…Apostle Paul). Neither by the blood of goats and calves (observed during the First Covenant) but by his own blood he entered in once unto the holy place (His Sacrificial Cross) HAVING OBTAINED ETERNAL REDEMPTION FOR US (we are redeemed NOW…..How much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God (how can one’s conscience be purged unless GOD writes HIS laws in their hearts and minds). (Heb. 9)
So much more can be said about the New Covenant.
Faithfully, Suzanne
