PURE HOLY LOVE OR A MIXTURE? – Ron McGatlin
EXPERIENCING HEAVENLY LOVE
Western culture is saturated with romance and sexual input from almost every direction. In the minds of most young adults, romance is love, and being in this kind of “love” is seen as the greatest expression of love.
Natural sexual attraction and desires are built into human beings even as it is in some form in all animals and nature to reproduce after its kind.
Throughout Christianity, there has been a great conflict and much drama seeking to deal with the reality of biblical instruction from God to govern and protect this very precious relational reality of human sexual romance.
Biblical courtship and marriage are designed to provide for the good of mankind and to reflect or picture the in-love relationship with God as the Bride of Christ on Earth.
Guidelines and unwritten laws, such as not being alone with a person of the opposite sex in a room with the door closed, exist in many Churches. These types of unwritten rules are used to try to prevent even the appearance of any form of deviation from the beautiful, fruitful pattern of courtship and marriage laid out by God in the Bible.
However, the world without God has gone in a very different direction, and the churches also have been affected by the world’s ways to varying degrees.
GOD’S PURE HOLY LOVE
Recently, there has been an increase in God’s manifested presence among His chosen people. There is a significant increase in both the outpouring of God’s pure holy love and the revelation of His written word. All of this is related to more of His people truly falling in love with Him.
As His people fall in love with Him, they also have significantly increased pure holy love for one another. The passion of pure holy love in the presence of God causes a desire to hug and kiss one another. 0ften there are emotional tears from the overwhelming love as we connect with others in the powerful presence of God.
These pure holy love expressions are not at all connected or related to romantic passion expressions. Men and women may embrace or kiss on the cheek or women with women or men with men, all with absolutely no romantic feelings or overtones. There are indeed deep, pure, holy love feelings, but sex simply is not at all part of this equation.
This is as it is in heaven. Romantic passion is not in heaven. Romantic love is an earthly thing that provides for reproduction and fruitful multiplication on earth, and it provides a grid or example for natural mankind to understand the passion of the pure Spirit love relationship with God in Christ Jesus.
29 “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.’” Matthew 22:29-30.
Romance, courtship, and marriage between a man and woman are for earth and are not continued in heaven. These on earth are pictures of pure, holy love and our relationship to God in Christ Jesus. We fall in love with God in pure holy love, and it continues in heaven.
The picture or shadow, romantic sexual passions, and marriage of men and women are not the primary focus when or where the true fullness of passionate, pure, holy love with God is fully present or manifested. In heaven or in heaven’s manifest presence on Earth, romantic passions are replaced with the similar but greater intensity of our in-love relationship with God in Christ.
This explains the experiences on earth of the manifest presence of God and His love overriding our natural romantic passions with pure holy love passions for God in Christ Jesus and then for one another. This is a part of His kingdom manifesting on earth as it is in heaven.
This is not to say that we do not recognize or love our previous earthly husbands or wives in heaven. However, the glory of our pure, holy love and worship will far outshine our earthly relationships.
In the Spirit, we are all children or sons of God, whether male or female.
THE BIG MISUNDERSTANDINGS AND PITFALLS
Many Churches and Christians have no real understanding of the full importance of being in love with God. Plainly said, at this time, most are so engrained with the world’s natural concepts and so unfamiliar with Spirit reality of heaven coming to earth in the manifest presence in and with His chosen people that they cannot grasp this true reality.
To attempt to replicate or create this expression of loving one another without the real presence of God and the pure, holy love relationship in love with God will open a door for the devil to create disastrous results.
Demonic vicious spirits among a gathering will work to take advantage of naïve, less spiritually mature people and inject sexual passion into the experience, creating extreme deception, devastation, and serious disorder. Families are torn apart, churches and ministries are destroyed, and lives are wrecked or lost as a result of this demonic deception.
24 “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Romans 1:24-25.
However, to the deceived people, in the beginning, this deviated false love affair may seem to be the deepest and most beautiful, intensely passionate, romantic, sexual love relationship of their lifetime.
GODS PLAN FOR COURTSHIP, MARRIAGE, AND FAMILY
Living in accordance with God’s plan for life and family provides safety and security from deception and destructive pitfalls and opens the way for a fruitful, peaceful, abundant life.
National or tribal cultures offer a multitude of varying traditions regarding these important issues. Some of which were loosely based on God’s biblical plans. None that I know of closely follow God’s family plan and those that did attempt to are being pressed to turn to ungodly devious alternatives.
God’s chosen people in love with Him are receiving wisdom and revelation to understand the need and the great value of aligning with God’s plan.
Pure, holy love is opening the way of wisdom and power to birth a sub-culture of godliness across the world.
The greatest natural life in this world is one empowered and enhanced in all areas by living in a family that is in a pure holy love relationship with God. Natural life patterns of romance and intense sexual passion in the framework and bounds of God’s family plan truly are the most passionate with perfect peace and intense natural love.
The pure, holy love relationship with God brings the family together. At the same time, it separates us from some who reject the pure, holy love and choose to relate to the natural flesh desires and the relational connections that it brings.
Not that we drive them away but more because they do not want to be close to us. Often, the only reason they continue to relate is to gain something that they want or need, such as money or provisions of some sort.
34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; 36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 10:34-39.
We may or may not do well to continue to buy their “friendship” and may be led to let them go or move on ourselves. God’s pure love and wisdom will strengthen us to do that which is best for all concerned. God will let us know whether to continue supplying in love and mercy or in love to discontinue.
Jesus did not come to make a peace treaty with evil darkness but did come to bring peace to the world and families on earth as it is in heaven. Pure holy love will not be bound or tied to evil darkness. True love dissolves or destroys the evil darkness of unlove with the strength of a rod of iron, the authority of a lion, and the love of a gentle lamb. We are just beginning to know the power of pure love. Selah!
