GLORY LIGHT AND POWER – Ron McGatlin
Much of the world has very limited respect or honor for Almighty God and a low esteem for the power of the Spirit realm in general.
The insurgence of Glory and power of the manifest presence of the light and love of God is bringing vast and extreme change in this world.
I heard the Lord say, “I am coming in the clouds of My glory lest all mankind be vaporized in the power of My Glory Light!”
The manifesting of the glory of God covering the earth is more than our minds have probably ever considered. Life and death are in the glory light of God. No man can experience the full focused light of God’s glory and live in a natural body as a natural soul.
“But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” Exodus 33:20.
The clouds temporarily lessen the power and brightness of God’s glory that reaches this generation, much like the heat of the sun is lessened through clouds. God is truly not willing that any should perish. “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9).
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Luke 21:25-27.
It is only through the indwelling Christ Jesus that we can enter the presence of the light of God’s glory and experience life in the glory of God.
”He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no (natural) man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.” 1 Timothy 6:15-16.
Every living soul will bow and tremble in the massive immeasurable, omnipotent power of God. Should the Father of light focus all of His light upon any one created thing or living creature it would vaporize and cease to exist.
Only that which is in HIM or of HIM through being in love with Him or in accord with His way will live in the perfect righteousness, peace, and joy in the glory of God’s light and love.
Love dissolves evil like light dissolves darkness. Darkness cannot exist in the light and light will not live in darkness. To the darkness, the light of God is a terror and an immeasurable horror.
“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21.
INSIDE THE GLORY
While outside the glory, there is terrible trauma upon the people of darkness, inside the glory is perfect righteousness, peace, and joy, with no fear or dread.
On the inside of the glory, our old life is lost and gone forever, and we do not miss it or desire to return to it.
However, those on the outside who continue to love their lives and will not believe and receive the way of being in love with God in Christ will perish. Nothing that defiles will enter the fullness of the Glory of God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. (Revelation 21-27).
Our old lives are passing away. It is necessary that the old familiar life we have lived as perhaps lukewarm children of God is individually and collectively being annihilated in the glory of God. Our new life is in the fullness of the love and light of the glory of God at rest in the peace and joy of the Lord God Almighty.
“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 10:37-39.
“So Jesus answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.’” Mark 10:29-31.
True prosperity is found in losing our lives and finding His life in us. It is Christ in us, the hope of GLORY. “The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27.
With all your heart and life, Love God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and all things will be added to you.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33.
Our first priority is to set our hearts and affection upon God, and His kingdom way will flow through us into this world, releasing all the power and glory of God upon this world. It is Christ in us establishing His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. (Colossians 3:1-4).
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32.
