SEPARATING THE PRECIOUS– Ron McGatlin

Recently, we have gone through some serious clutter cleansing in our home. Literally small truckloads of once precious stuff that had become clutter over the years were carried away.

Since then, God has made it clear to me that my life and the lives of many of His chosen people have become cluttered with many things that were once precious. Ministry, business, or family things that may have worked well in the past and were precious in their season, are now becoming clutter that hinders our moving with God in the NEW LIFE that He has for us now in this changing world.

God’s provision and protection are always in and upon our lives as we walk in His plan and purpose. New tools and methods are needed as we move into the new and different atmospheres of advancing in the kingdom of Heaven lifestyle on Earth.

We may need to lay down the old tools and ways or methods to receive the new ones. If we cling to the tools and methods of the past, God may remove His protection from those existing tools and methods. It is for our blessing and the moving of God on earth that the old tools and ways may be attacked and either destroyed or stolen.

Clutter can work as a stumbling block, hindering our advancement. It can also be a fire hazard that endangers us. When the fire of God manifests in our lives, the clutter will be burned away.

THE WRECKING BALL OF CHANGE

If we can live in a place of oneness in love with God, we will know and respond to His increasing kingdom ways and discern the proper tools and methods for the greater works of God. Then we will never need to experience the wrecking ball that destroys the clutter.

It is never God’s perfect will that we suffer serious difficulties of pain and loss. However, the wrecking ball may come when we cling to yesterday’s ways and methods that were precious then but now are only clutter.

Many believers and much of the world are now experiencing the wrecking ball effect in this season of reformation toward the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Ungodly, devious governments and businesses have ingrained false principles in the rule of nations, creating massive worldwide clutter that stands in the way of the advancing love kingdom of God.

THE CLEANSING FIRE AND BEAUTY FOR ASHES

When the fire of God in our lives contacts clutter, it will burn it to ashes. Then the love and glory of God will provide beauty for the ashes.

“‘The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.’

4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.”

This is the redemption of the world that God so loved that He sent His only begotten Son to save. This is the manifested Christ Jesus in the “many sons” of God, establishing the fullness of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth to the GLORY of GOD. Returning the kingdoms of this world to the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 15:24).

We are beginning to experience the cleansing and full redemption from the traditions of our fathers by the precious blood of Christ!

“Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” 1 Peter 1:18-19.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58.

“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32.
